of course I did, but I didn't remember XF in that battle blasted that much.

I think 03's Juxian scene was quite accurate, just that it is a bit too short (or seems so) compared to the novel.

Agree, the fight was a little bit too short, although very bloody and fierce , and much much better quality, compared to DGSD 97 and DGSD 82. I thought the fight with the Shaolin monk should be longer and better.

Long fights dont piss me off half as much as exploding rocks and laser beams and palm shots blowing half an army away.

or 'chi' explosions that come out of nowhere. Damn annoying.

How I wish they bring back the post-Shaw brothers TVB choreography. Back when fights where choreographed with actual physical contact, back when actors actually made the effort to do at least some of their moves. It was much more impressive then looking at cheesy overdone special effects or obvious stunt doubles that do entire scenes.

Not just short, but they never bothered to highlight that XF was using some basic kung fu to bust the monks high level shaolin stuff.

That happened in the book as well, when he darted into the middle of the rebel army and took the leaders prisoner.

wacky but very memorable. that was the best scene. what a great intro. scene made it seem like MYF and QF were equally powerful. but after thatn, MYF just suck compared to QF.

I was watching HSDS'03, it was like WTF? The fight scenes look more like Dragon Ballz. They're fighting in some other world in space.
