Like luvalecsu_4evea said, this is a different show from "Lavender" ( 薰衣草 ), but it's called "Lavender II" ( 薰衣草 II ). Its other name is "Jie Deng" ( 街灯 ), which translates to "Street Light". I don't think it's a sequel, though. The title might just be playing off of the popularity of the first installment, especially since Ambrose Hsu stars in this one as well.

I've watched this one. It's definitely not related to "Lavender" at all. Lady Zhuge is right, the title is "Jie Deng" or Street Light. It's about street dancing.

I don't know the main actress's name in english, but i have the chinese version of the movie. it's good, but a sad ending.
WHY DOES EVER SINGLE ONE OF THE MOVIES I WATCH HAS SAD ENDINGS?!
I hope the one I'm watching now doesn't, its Ping Zong Xia Ying.
