Default How much modern sensibility spills into wuxia fiction?

Jin Yong, Gu Long, Leung Yu Sang and others have produced some of the most memorable wuxia fiction of the past half century. Their heroic tales occur in a fictionalized Chinese past, but the authors themselves are indelibly men of the 20th Century. How much of their modern sensibilities spilled into their stories? Were there any ideas in their novels that seemed anachronistically modern to you?
