I am so behind on Smallville episodes. I don't even remember the last time I've gotten a chance to see it. What has happened so far?
Yesterday's History,
Tomorrow's a Mystery,
Today's a Gift,
That’s why we call it,
The Present.
I would comment on this past episode, but I haven't seen it yet. I taped it, but I'll only get to watch it when I get back to school this upcoming week, since I left the tape in my dorm room.

I used to like Smallville but the whole Lana-Clark-Cloe triangle annoyed me SOOoo much I stopped watching it. The writers REALLY stretched their imaginations to make up excuses why Lana and Clark can't be together. I saw some of the new episodes though and now I just hate Clark period. I would only watch this for Lex. He's an awesome character. Him going bad...good. Clark going bad...
I mean, he doesn't have it in him to be bad, he's a goody goody. He needs a stupid ring to MAKE himself turn bad. Lex is just pure evil
.
I also feel that Smallville has lost it's special spark that it had, if it wasn't for Lex Luthor/Michael Rosenbaum, I wouldn't be watching it faithfully.![]()

K, lemme clue you in.
The season premiere takes place 3 months after the last finale, when Clark, being burdened by issues, decided he didn't want to be himself. So he stuck the red kryptonite ring onto his hand and drove off as the bad side...
This episode goes into the personas of Clark and Lex. Clark going out of control with the kryptonite right and abusing his powers to rob banks and do whatever he wants.
Lex, on the other hand, had crashed at an island and is dillusional. He fights with his inner dark side and imagines that he had killed his dad.
Every season, Clark will have a new ability and Lex will turn more into the bad *** mother ****er we want to see.
I don't want to spoil the rest, go watch it.![]()
Will begin to start watching now

I don't know if any of you are old enough to remember "The Adventures of Superboy" in the late 1980s to early 1990s. It stars Gerard Christopher as Clark/Superboy.
Supposedly this series is supposed to be the exactly like the comic book since the producers of the series produced the Superman movies with Christopher Reeve.
Believe it or not, Gerard got the role of Clark for Smallville, but then turned down later after WB found out that he already did Superboy. They were looking for a someone who's never done anything of that sort. Imagine if they did cast Gerard. He's 43! Some of you already complained that Tom Welling looks too old. He's not. He's only 26.
Qian Qian Wan Sui!!
Did everyone catch last night's episode? Michael Rosenbaum had the coolest lines and dominant role....I was sorta surprise when Lana came to his mansion and ask Lex to do something about Perry White....and the other cool scene with Lex threatening Perry at the Luthor Mansion too....protecting his friends....and heh yeah he got a temper problem there...he lost his coolness but hey he finally agreed to spill his beans to the psychichtrist(sp?) at the end....I think Michael R is such a cool Lex Luther....he has some great acting skills...hehehe excuse me while I drool over this hunk....hahahhaa even though he has no hair...he is one cool dude!![]()

I know, I love MR as Lex. I'm a sucker for this pre-bad guy. I guess I'm too used to him without hair, it would be weird to see him with hair. It was a good episode expect for the fact that I can no longer stand Lana, no thanks to KK's acting.Originally posted by Suet Seung

Just curious, Smallville is in it's third season right or is it fourth already? I wonder when the other seasons will go on DVD.
Are the prices for the DVDs considered expensive? Would you consider buying them?

She's so purtyyy...
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
It's in its 3rd season now. I'm pretty sure I saw a commercial for the first season being available on DVD already or at least will be available very soon.Originally posted by Suet Seung

'The true enemy has not yet shown his face'- The Godfather
the first season goes for 39.95-49.95 with extra footage and behind the scenes. So i think an okay price.

Have anyone seen last night's episode? Apparently, I got home from work and missed like the majority of the episode like 41 minutes of it (including commercial/intermission time).
So can anyone explain to me what was happening and whose Louise and everything? I caught only like the last sixteen or so minutes of it.

Louise is Lana's great aunt. she was unhappily married--sorta agreed to marriage with Dex because of her father. One day she was being robbed by Lex's grandfather. A drifter who looks like Clark saves her calling himself Joe. Later we find out that the drifter is Clark's biological father sent as a right of passage mission to earth. he falls deeply in love with Louise and they make out a whole lot. Louise wants to leave with Joe but he cant. He evens holds her and flys a it. Lex's grandfather shows up and tries to kill Joe but the bullets do nothing and one stray bullet hit Louise. She dies happily in Joe's arms. WHile these flahsbacks are happeing Clark had found a medallion that allows him to see all of this when he touches something Joe had touch. He unravels the real motive behind the mess. The deputy who is recend Mayor of Smallville fell in love with Louise and had made a deal with Lex's grandfather to kill Joe and blame the death of Dex so he can have Louise. Back in the past, Joe is devastated with Loouises death he tries to leave but the whole town his out looking for him blaming the death on him. Dex had found Louise body and held the gun and saw the Joe running from the scene so he told everyone Joe killed Louise. No one believes him and he is framed for murder. Joe finally gets help from Jonathan Kent's father and leaves. Before he does, Jonathan's father said if he needed anything just tell him. Before Joe goes back to his planet he stores the medallion in the walls of the cave because it was a journal and he didnt want his father to know about Louise. Clark finds out that Jonathan Kent was chosen to take care of him.

There hasn't been a post in this thread for a long time now. So...has anyone been keeping up with Smallville this season? Sadly, I haven't had a chance to see an episode beyond the season premiere.

I haven't been watching this series for a while too. I didn't watch the show last season at all and then missed the season premiere and have only been watching little bits of the show once in a while this season. I finally had a chance to watch a full episode of it last week and the episode was about this girl that could transport. Even after watching that episode I'm a still confused about what's going on. It seemed like Lana and Clark ended their relationship. I don't understand why, does anyone know?
