Cancelled? It's no where near cancelled. It's one of the popular series on WB, I doubt it would be cancelled any time soon.

I think the grand finale would be awsome. Probably see Lex turn completely evil... and something must happen to Lana...

But then again... Smallville did change a lot from the original story.

In the Special features in Smallville Season 2 DVD, Christopher Reeves explains that there are two Clark Kents, the one that Tom Welling plays on Smallville is modeled after the one Jeff East plays in Superman 1.

Then after Clark Kent leaves Smallville to Metropolis, a different persona---C.K. puts on the glasses and acts meek to hide the suspicion that he might be Superman. Christopher Reeves also said that he plays the adult Clark Kent. And so Tom Welling is just playing a Clark Kent at a different stage of the character's life from his discovery of his powers, his biological father, mission, and etc.

Also in the special features they said "In the superman movies, Clark Kent is the disguise while Superman is the real identity.
In Smallville series, Clark Kent is the idenity and Superman(the Clark with powers) is the disguise." Hmm...something like that...

The preview for season 4 looks good. Clark looks like he's finally going to fly and meets Lois Lane. I heard that Flash will be in it too. I think Lana is much prettier than Lois.

OMG i hope clark wont be with lois even though in the comics they loved each other but since smallville is a total complete change from the comic i hope he ends with lana NO ONE CAN compete with HER shes so gorgeous and if clark chooses THE GRL playing lois over lana IT WILL BE VERY SAD FOR ME AND some viewers this show got some viewers watching because of also kristin kreuk lex is not bad looking he is cuteeee

I hate to say it but I think the ending of this series will have Lana and Clark broke up... Lex and Clark becomes bitter enemy but then you will see light when Clark meets Lois

I'm not sure if they really changed the storyline since the Clark in Smallville plays the teenage Clark, as I've mentioned in my last post on this thread. So maybe it isn't really change just the young Clark explored in more detail?

Lana maybe prettier than Lois but I think Lois looks somewhat right for Clark.

Yes, Kristin Kreuk is very beautiful. I like Lana a lot in the beginning. But she's now just plain annoying. Nothing wrong with Kristin Kreuk. Just the Lana character.

Well, Lana IS whiny. Not only is she whiny, she is also self-centred. It's all about me me me. 'No one cares for me', 'Everyone abandons me', 'How dare Chloe not tell me that she has found Clark, even though she has promised Clark not to', 'I want to keep the Talon for my memory, so Lex must help me even though he sees no profit in it', 'how dare Nell marry a man she loves and want to take me away from Smallville with her without asking me first. I won't go, but make no mistake, SHE is the one who abandons me.', 'I can't bare see Clark dies, so, I better not visit him while he is very very sick, even though he will be glad to see me and my support will help a lot' , 'I'm not going to trust Clark even though he save me countless time' etc
The only unself-centered thing she ever did is letting her father go.

I have only seen a few episodes of season 3 (it's just aired in my local TV), but I was so glad when Clark broke up Lana. Lana has been nothing but unsupportive, untrusting and demanding to Clark. I hope they never get back together.
