Just saw the first episode of Season 4 last night. It's now presented in widescreen which makes it better. It's also a little funnier too. I was surprised to see that there was a black kryptonite as well.

Not really that surprising. In comics, other than green and red, there are also gold, white, blue, x, jewel and slow kryptonite. There's a also an anti-krytonite. Adding 1 more color really isn't surprising.

Yup. There really are different color kryptonite has different affects on Clark. We've already seen red and green kryptonite. Red makes him Evil Clark, Green weakens him and if exposed long enough, kills him.

Green Kryptonite: weakens and eventually kills super-powered Kryptonians. Usually harmless to other races, but one story in Brave and the Bold had a device used which resulted in Terrans being affected similar to Kryptonians.

Anti-Kryptonite: similar to Green K, but affects non-super-powered Kryptonians. This was a retcon used to explain why the non-powered Argo City residents could be killed by what seemed to be Green K.

X-Kryptonite: Only one chunk, it was created by Supergirl trying to find a cure for Green K. It gives Terrans, or at least Terran cats, Kryptonian style powers for a limited time.

Red Kryptonite: Causes a specific, odd, effect. Often involved physical transformations or mental changes. Each chunk had a different effect, and could only affect a given Kryptonian once. Effects usually wore off in 24-48 hours. Created when Green K passed through a space cloud.

Gold Kryptonite: Removes a Kryptonian's super-powers permanently. Created when Green K passed through a different space cloud.

White Kryptonite: Kills any plant life from any world. Yep, another space cloud.

Blue Kryptonite: Has the same effect on Bizarro Kryptonians as Green K does on real Kryptonians. Created by the same imperfect duplicator ray that created the Bizarros.

Jewel Kryptonite: Remnents of Krypton's Jewel Mountains, it allows Phantom Zone residents to focus their mental energy and cause explosions in the outside world.

Lois is kinda pretty but she looks older than Clark. Lana is the most beautiful person out of all the females in the series.

I remember she wasn't that popular on the Canadian tv shows... pretty she was but the Lana role make her more beautiful in some werid way.

lana is hot but her character in smallville dont really match with CK, Lois on the other hand do fit CK. So, i vote for Lois and CK. If we want to see who fit with who we have to look at the character they portrait not how they look on screen. Anyway i still think Lex is hotter than clark!!! kakakakakk

I was pretty shocked when they made Clark and Lex best friends in the beginning of the series since they are future enemies in Superman.

I totally agree with you. In fact, I personally don't find Tom Welling to be attractive at all whereas Michael Rosenbaum just oozes sex appeal.

You certainly won't say that if you have seen him in 'Sorority Boys' or 'Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane'. He is not sexy at all in those movie/series. It's the characterisation of Lex plus Michael's great acting that make him sexy.

Actually, I have seen both Sorority Boys and a few episodes of "Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane" and I still think he's sexy. But yeah, I do agree with you that the character of Lex just allows Michael to exude the sexiness factor to the max and of course he is a great actor too.

Finally saw season four! What an excellent episode ,it was! Topless Lex and Clark *drools*. Lana's new boyfriend can score 11 on a 1-10 scale..mmm..Jensen Ackles..

ANYWAY, Chloe MIGHT not be dead or is she? Personally, I hope she's still alive.

Lana has outgrown pink and I feel that the shower scene was not even necessary for the plot. Oh well...

I watched part of that special on ABC the other night. Anyone else watch it? Kristin Kreuk wasn't very talkative. It seemed like the actress that played Chloe did all the talking.

I am so glad to hear that Chloe is still alive. When I watched the season premiere and heard that she was dead, I was kind of annoyed because I thought they had killed off her character. She probably is my most favorite character on that show and it would be awful if they killed her off. I missed most of last season and had no idea what was going on while watching the premiere. What is Lana doing in Paris? Lois seems to look a bit older than Clark.
