The problem with this series is that it doesn't follow the comic history.

Clark Kent was popular in his youth... he did came from a small town where his adopted parents found him and raise him. He was a great football player too and got into college with a football scholarship. He never met Lux or Lois till he join the Planet (newspaper firm).

I guess if you dont' think too much about it and look at the series by itself it is pretty good. I enjoy it and watch it when I see it on TV.

WB did a good job with it not just milk the licences away.

Never say never. They're even trying to get Bruce Wayne into Smallville, I wouldn't be surprised if Lois makes an extrance. I've read before that Lois and Chloe are cousins?

I heard Lois and Chloe are cousin too but who knows the producer can piece everything together in the end for us too.

I guess I miss the eps when Bruce Wayne was in town. I always thought Bruce was in a different time and place then Superman.

The only think that gets me in this series is Clark is a geek. I wanted him to be this kind hearted athletic... but o well

The really good thing was they introduce Lana she is so fine and sweet for this series. Lex is awsome too.

Lex is sooooo different from what he is potrayed in previous superman movies and comics. In this series, he seems smarter and HOTTER.

I love the Chloe character. Allison Mack does a particularly good job in potraying her. I'm a real supporter of the Chloe/Clark coupling. And yes, i've read in a Smallville website that Chloe and Lana are actually cousins.

Kristin kreuk sucks. She can't act. Every word that she speaks annoys the hell out of me. That's why season 2 finale is so dissapointing for me, being a large C/C supporter.

All in all, I think that Smallville in Season 2 has lost its magic. i dont watch it as much anymore. Partly becaue I have badminton on weekends and partly because of Kristin Kreuk bags all the screen time.

Wonder if Superman have any kids... but there is lots of theories on the net as to why Superman can't have kids.

They should make Clark a stud... then get guest stars like Britany Spears, Jennifer Simpson, etc to come in as his date.

That will drive the generation X market up to see this show... would be like the Melrose Place, Bevely Hill 910210, etc....

well according to the cartoon---batman married batgirl but they had a divorce--no children mentioned.

then with Birds of Prey--he had a daughter with Cat Woman.
