I think he is only underrated among foreign fans. He does have numerous fan cafes in Daum and sites in Korea.

Precisely, which is why I think it's such a pity that foreign audiences dun know much abt him I can't seem to find any non-Korean fan sites on him. There used to be one Taiwanese site, but it has since been removed.

My favorite screen actors used to be Tom Cruise, Keeanu Reeves, Brendan
Fraser and lately Colin Farrell with Justine Timberlake as my favorite contemporary
performer. But after watching only two movies of Jo Hyun-Jae, 'Love Letter" and
"Forbidden Love", everything changed. Now I can't watch other shows without
wishing Jo Hyun-Jae is in it. Now I can only enjoy music if I play the soundtracks
of either the above movies. I know this is silly, but I don't know what's going on.
I am not sure if that should be the effect of watching Jo Hyun-Jae's movies. And if that is the case, he should make more movies to satisfy his followers, because
right now I'm not in the mood of watching movies other than Hyun-Jae's.

I'm so happy to find this thread. Yes I agree, Jo Hyun-Jae is so underated as an Actor.
His latest movie: Suhdong's Song (historical drama) is soooo good.. I hope you all can see this movie. He is so adorable as a Prince and finally becomes a King.

I also like the Love Letter, Nine tails fox and Only You. He is so adorable in Untold Scandal as well.
I was told by a friend though, that he is beginning to get very popular in Japan.

I've only seen him in Forbidden Love. I was totally into his character whereas my sister liked JunJin. I think he has a very charming smile and he's one of the few male actors that cry well onscreen.
