Help..How to insert a pic in the msg (newbie)

Can you guys help me how this insert image work? Or how to insert pics in the msg w/out using the attachment? PLZ guys!! Im new here!!

After clicking "Post Reply", above the message box and just above where it says "Guided Mode" and "Enhanced Mode", you should see a row of symbols ranging from B on the left side to what looks like a small speech bubble on the right. The fourth icon from the right looks kind of like a postcard (either that or mountains on a yellow background with a sun in the top right corner). If you place your cursor over that, it should say "Insert Image", so click on it and [IMG] should pop up. Insert the URL of the image you would like to post. Then click that icon again and [/IMG] should appear. Sometimes I find it more convenient just to type the [IMG] and [/IMG] myself.

When you actually post it, the image will be displayed rather than the URL you've inserted.

The pictures must be hosted on a website online. You can't just post the file name from your computer.

1) Go to User CP located at the top left hand side of the forum page

2) Click on Edit Avatar located at the left column, under Settings and Options

3) You can either

Select a standard avatar from the list provided or,
Link to a picture you have uploaded online by keying in the URL or,
Upload an avatar from you computer by clicking the browse button

4) Save changes - viola, it's done

P.S Please take note that the avatar restrictions for the forum is 72 by 72 pixels or 48.8 kb (whichever is smaller)

If you want to edit your signature, please read my previous post, however, instead of Edit avatar, choose Edit Signature. Take note spcnet do no allow pictures in signatures, so you can only type in a message or link to another page.

In case you don't know what signatures are, it is the message that appears at the end of your post.

really sorry bout the nay part i was suppose to say any.. well anyways.. i would really like to ask where the heck could i find nicer pictures.. coz.. all the pictures that i have don't really fit the requirement... please..

You can always resize your pictures, there are freewares around that can easily resize pictures. If you have softwares like Photoshop, there's a function inside for you to resize. If not, just pm the picture you want to resize and I can do it for you. For guidelines on how to change the avatar, please read my earlier posts.
