    Default Kung Fu Soccer

Kung Fu Soccer... staring Dicky, The Twins, Anthony Wong, etc... so far pretty funny.

Anyone started to watch this series yet?

I have already watch until episode 12. It is a very good series. Very entertaining. If u like Shaolin Soccer you will like this series. The humor is similar to Shaolin Soccer but minus the disgusting body fluid and messiness. So, I actually like this series better than Shaolin Soccer. The exagerated CGI kungfu is really fun to watch. So, is the characters' funny diolog. The best performances come from Anthony Wong and Sandra Ng. I love their chemistry. Dicky Cheung is also good. He did his usual brand of fast talking humor, but also show some endearing side of the character. You really sympathize with his character's predicament. Some of the younger actors' acting is not as good but not so bad until it marred my enjoyment of the movie. It might be because their roles are not so demanding and rather small. So, the impact is not big. Twins fans might be dissapointed because although their pictures are very big in the poster, their parts are not big. Charlene only appeared in the 1st 2 episodes. Gillian appeared quite late in the series. She is still in yesterday's episode, but because her character in going to join the female's football team, she might not appear anymore in the series.

Isn't this going to be on ATV instead of TVB? That's what I got from the poster.

This show will air on TVB before the end of the year. I heard TVB wanted to air this drama early next year, but had a changed of plans b/c this drama already have pirated copies on the market for sale. Therefore, TVB jump ahead of schedule before everyone gets a chance to see it with the pirated copies.

The series is good but sometimes it's little bit weird because people can shoot a tractor up??
So, in this series have lots of weird things, but it makes this series funny. And this is a good point

This series is really good, I just finished watching this series yesterday, Kung Fu soccer is a combination of comedy with hints of drama. Dicky Cheung portrayed his character well and the cast were superb. Some parts were hilarious, but there were parts that were also really sad. All in all I reccommend this series for people who enjoy comedies and who are fans of Dicky.

Is it true that Gallen Lo is also in this series? I read that the series did not do well when it was shown on TVB. Is it worth watching? I saw this series in VCD in my video rental store, but it's not grouped together with the TVB serials, instead, it's classified as a Mainland China series, wonder why.

I haven't seen this series at all, but I watched shaolin soccer because i was in a coach bus and the tour guide was playing it to us. It was okay, I guess..even though the first part where they had to train was funny.
I'm watching: War & Destiny, Yummy Yummy

Want to watch: The Conquest, ASITP & EH (again)

Recently watched: LOCH'82, Strike at Heart, Central Affairs, The Academy

    i watched all 33 episodes..and i must say...

    the story line was nonexistent..

however, it was good for laughs and i do love dicky cheung films.

but if you're in it for the story, i reckon you save 33 hours of your time.

Hi, i'd watched the show but i think Twins didn't really have many parts to play in. The main ones are Joey Yung and Dicky Cheung. If i didn't rmb wrongly, Gallen Lo had few parts as Joey's lover in the last few scenes.
