TVB expands actors/actresses department to attract more jobs, Roger Kwok and Jessica Hsuan act as leaders of the group

TVB plans to become the leader, with the largest amount of actors/actresses, and the biggest managing company in Hong Kong. Earlier, expanded the actor/actress department to handle for workload, receiving more jobs for their own artists. Heading at the top of the list of male/female artists introduction are Roger K. and Jessica H!

TVB changed their tactics, including the already in contract (salary negoitated) 40 artists, TVB signed contracts with 20 other artists (salary not negoitated). Two weeks ago, TVB organized information for all their artists, planning to give out an introduction, in writing, for each and everyone of them, with their detailed resumes. The introduction was put into a file/folder design, catergorizes into male/female portions, each artist has their own introduction/information written in an A4 size paper, with photos included. The entire project also included a ranking of their artists, which show their status with the company.

For actors, since the departure of Law Ka Leung and Louis Koo, Roger kwok has become the number one guy, last year winner of the Best Actor award Bowie Lam comes in second, follow by Moses, Ron Ng, Raymond Lam, Kevin Cheng, and Frankie Lam, etc. For actresses, Jessica is number one, follow by last year's Best Actress Gigi Lai, with Charmaine Sheh, Sonija Kwok, Myolie Wu, Melissa Ng, Bernice Liu, Tavia Yeung, etc.

TVB spokeperson said that the introduction of the project is important. In the past, many companies wanting to hire artists for either advertisement or commerical participation, but didn't know how to approach. Now, TVB has setup two individuals lines for people to call in and inquire about their artists.

Keep in mind ONLY ARTIST CONTRACTED WITH TVB are in here! I believe that all the TVB contracted artist are on the list... so no more post saying that they don't deserve to be on the list, they are on the list no matter what, they are contracted with TVB!

If any actor/actress are not on the list they are not under TVB mangement

I think for the exception of Roger and Jessica, the leaders. The other guys are not ranked in order. They are randomized I think. It doesnt make sense that Sonija, Mellisa, and Bernice is ranked higher than Tavia.

And Sunny is definitely not supposed to be 18th.

I know Bobby isn't. Bobby goes by per series pay and not salary based. It is different kind of contract especially when you have more status in TVB, you'll negotiate for per series rate. Bobby also has his own manager, I presume.

These people in the list must be salary based. They signed TVB as their manager...Jessica definitely could choose to renegotiate? maybe she didn't..or she chose to stay loyal to TVB..but I think she must have different "goodies" in her contract.

Sunny left and came back to TVB..He also jump-shipped to rival station, ATV...maybe TVB question his loyalty to them??!?

I always thought Louis Koo is managed by TVB. I also read not long ago Sammul recently sign with TVB to go under it's management. That's why he is getting more and more series and is given themesongs to sing. Why aren't these 2 on the list?

they still do series for tvb but they are just not fully signed with them, thats all! Which i think is better cuz that means they don't have to follow ALL the TVB Rules, they have more freedom. They are still being promoted just the way the contracted stars are. So no biggy, if they are not on the list.

Louis left TVB end of 2004.his contract ended..
i read somewhere that he left because his manager left TVB prior to him...some news also indicated that he formed his own managing company..self-managed..100 percent money into his own pockets..hahaah..no commision anymore to TVB..why not huh?

wow that is SOOOO true! hehe.. so all these ppl are just PRE-Contract with TVB that means like they don't do AS much series as the other actors/actresses but they still do like a few each year! agreed i think that's better too.. like i know Maggie Cheung and Nnadia Chan are pre-contract with TVB but they still do series for TVB and they both do movies in the mainland i think.. well i know Nnadia does...not sure about Maggie
