Hahahhahahahhahahahhahaa Now, I know where to go if I want cheesecake or if I want to get advice on how to cut off a guy's balls.

Okay.. better post something about food before we get Sparky's thread banned.

Ice Cream!!! What are your favourite flavours? Mine would be the classic plain vanilla!

What do you mean "yes"? We were clearly referring to MA, St. Kitts and Nevis, Sugar. Anyway, I don't live in MA...I live in Godiva land, remember? A world of my own, where I sip Godiva drinks all day

Anyone besides GuGu ever have one?

Good idea! Although given the events of today, I have a feeling I'm going to come on tomorrow and see "last post by Han Solo." Let's get back on topic before I get blacklisted from starting new threads or something.

I heart all things chocolate but I have to say I like both chocolate and vanilla equally. However, my favourite ice cream is Godiva Belgian Dark Chocolate. OMG that stuff is heavenly. It's so good it's crazy...at four dollars a pint it's also more economical than my $2/ea Godiva truffles. I want to try the Cappuccino with Chocolate Hearts sometime - new flavour.

I can also eat almost any flavour of Haagen Dazs right out of the box. GuGu, bellamia, and I should do that sometime when we have our Kool-Aid party.

Is it all that? Godiva is only the best chocolatier in the universe.

As for your second question, you've got it all wrong. My birthday is coming up, not yours. You don't even celebrate Father's Day.

They don't have Godiva in Australia?

    Your birthday isn't the point.
Your country is deprived - I feel sorry.
Your last sentence made no sense, but I know you're not the most articulate poster.

my friend went on the cabbage diet, and she turned gray after a few days, and quit.

I know someone who was on the Atkins diet. Maybe he was taking it a bit to the extreme, but just looking at his plate of meat made my arteries start hardening.

The only low carb diet that I kind of know about is the South Beach Diet. Basically, in Phase 1, which is about 1 - 2 weeks, it suggests that you cut out most forms of carbs, including fruit. Phase 2, you start adding the "healthy" carbs in slowly, a little bit of fruit, whole grains, but in moderation. Phase 3 is supposed to be the new lifestyle where you're not really limited, but you should be choosing fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Oh, and though it's low carb, they advise against high fat stuff, so they suggest non/low fat cheese, chicken or turkey instead of duck or lamb or other high fat meats, fish, nuts in moderation, etc etc.

Really, it's calling it low carb, but it's just helping people get into healthy eating. We all know that we should eat tons of veggies, healthy fats, whole grains and not refined sugars, etc.

Oh, and yes, it works to lose weight, especially in Ph 1. By Ph 3, you should be in "maintenance" mode.

Yup, it's really hard to eat Asian food because white rice is not suggested (refined carb). Soba noodles are allowed cuz they're buckwheat!! I LOVE soba noodles.

Of course, everything in moderation is the key.

i just had a lengthy conversation with someone about taco bell, the awesomeness of the chalupa, and its power to bring world peace to the middle east.

Yeah, I know. I had to switch white rice and bread to whole grain rice and bread. IT isn't bad... and..I have been eating alot of salmon.. poor creatures

btw, I always thought the ATkins diet was flawed.... so it alright to diss bread and apple while you chuck down greasy bacon
