HAHAHA... She was the "aggressor" in this bathtub tuggle. At this point in the story, ShaoQian already freed TongXue from their illicit relationship and she moved out of his house. But then TongXue's best friend's father business fell into a financial crisis and TongXue couldn't just freely standby to watch her bestfriend suffer. Hoping that ShaoQian could lend some financial help, she tried her best to get back on his "good side" but no matter what she did, he totally gave her the cold shoulder. Out of desperation, she embarked on a plan to "seduce" him by catering to his "taste" (e.g. wearing his collar shirt).

For you? Yes sir!!!

I don't think TongXue will respond the same way.

The newest character promo for Mo ShaoQian just came out from Hunan TV. I just did a quick translation of the video, just turn on annotation on your bottom right.

I have the same problem too with a lot of major Chinese streaming sites now. I guess they're banning all regions outside China. But there are usually other streaming websites where you can watch the drama or I would just download it. I'll try provide some links once the drama is released.

I know! You're definitely not alone, but I feel so guilty for having such devilish thoughts. But then I would never wish that to happen to me in real life. I would smack the guy. LOL. Drama is just drama. We like to watch things that do not exist in our personal world.

Anyway, another new promo about the puppy love between TongXue and XiaoShan just got released. I have a feeling XiaoShan's character is going to bore me to death. I wasn't even fond of him in novel, and now I have to watch him in the live action. Compared to ShaoQian, XiaoShan is a savior, too good for my liking. Maybe I'm just biased cuz ShaoQian has always been my favorite character.

Exactly! No need to feel guilty...well guilty pleasures are also good. I just love the strong and silent but with great bedroom abilities type. Guys like XiaoShan are so boring...

I don't understand why chinese actors have their voice dubbed...I can understand if they don't speak the language but if they do...

Well, the author once revealed in an interview that ShaoQian is quite innocent in the area of love. TongXue is actually his first love. I know, hard to to believe a 30 year old successful guy having a clean slate. The author explains that ShaoQian grew up under the strict parenting of his no-nonsense father and so many things have happened to his family that he had no time to think about dating/women.

Now that I think about all the guys who have shown some interest or are in love with TongXue, I feel like ShaoQian is probably the guy who loves her most, but unfortunately, also the guy who brought her the most pain. I don't doubt XiaoShan's love for TongXue, but I feel his love is not very "wholehearted." He has too many things to think about.

Promo #7 is out. This one is about the business rivalry between ShaoQian and his father-in-law (Mu ChangHe). I'm actually excited to see how their battle of wits plays out! The novel didn't touch on this topic, but the scriptwriter definitely added a lot of new stuff. She's from HK, so I'm sure she has some background in business dealings.



Edit: Is it just me or does anyone else find the acting by Ying'er who plays TongXue lacking? Compared to Hawick Lau and Wen ZhengRong, who is absolutely brillant in her acting, Ying'er fails to shine at all based on all the trailers/clips I've seen. Not only that, she actually looks quite awkward in certain angles. I'm praying her acting will be good in the actual drama. It would be absolutely devastating if I end up hating TongXue.

I'm currently watching a YouKu interview with the Hawick, Ying'er, director, and the original author. Ying'er looks pretty good in real life, at least in this interview. She looks slender and sweet, quite fitting for the role of TongXue in physique. But why does she look so bad in some clips?! Must be the cameraman's fault.

Welcome aboard! If you read through my previous posts, you can probably tell I'm big fan of Mo ShaoQian too! I love conflicting characters! ShaoQian has a streak of devilish charm and innocence. I really hope they don't water down his wickedness to make him more into a typical male lead. It's the classy touch of evil that makes ShaoQian interesting to watch.
