Thanks to Thewisdom66 for uploading, I finally get to watch the drama after waiting for 7 long months. Anyhow, I think the the soundeffect and the drama does not go together, the sound go after the video... Kinda confusing

Also, I was quite disappointed that they changed Hawick voice. I was looking forward to listen to him Great first episode tough... Can't wait for more!

BTW, anyone know when the 3rd and 4th episode to be air?

Edit: After watching the first 2 episodes, I'm loving Hawick's performance of Mo ShaoQian! This is the first drama I watched of Hawick in more than 10 years and I'm happy he improved and didn't disappoint me. heheehehehe...Mo ShaoQian is sooo...interesting...to watch.....hahaha..I can't find a better word to describe him...he's like the captor toying around with his prey...playing the cat and mouse chase with TongXue...some may think he's a complete jerk, even scary, for his treatment of the girl, but i guess he's using her as his outlet to vent out his frustration/misfortunes. Ying'er's acting is better than I expected (note: I had ZERO expectation of her acting skills).

I agree. With absolutely no expectations of her, her acting is bearable. I still find her acting not genuine enough though but perhaps she'll get better. What I think annoys me is the fact that she doesn't pull off the sad/angry scenes very well. You know how there are people who cry and look really bad when they cry and this can distract the viewer; while there are some who cry and look so beautiful doing so that your heart reaches out to them, I feel that Ying'er looks really bad when she does the emotional scenes because when she yells, her features really look unattractive.

These are just my opinions, and I have no intentions to criticise Ying'er as a person or actress, I just don't think she was the perfect person for the role. Hopefully she'll prove me wrong later in the show.

Anyway, I just can't express my awe for Hawick's Mo ShaoQian. I'm loving his portrayal more and more. Even though the drama digresses a lot from the novel (the sequence of events got tweaked around), I don't really mind the change too much since the original story was pretty short and sorta hard to adapt into a full drama due to the first person narration.

One of my favorite shots of Mo ShaoQian. He looks soo brilliantly evil.

TongXue is like his little white rabbit, and look, she's wearing white too...Even though Ying'er doesn't really look good in certain angles, but I must say she has really GOOD skin! I'm growing to accept her as TongXue. I know Chinese netizens are complaining about her looks/costumes incessantly, but I really don't think she's THAT BAD. Feel kinda bad for her. She's a newbie, and doesn't deserve such harsh criticisms about her "looking fat/ugly." I actually like the fresh image she brings to the drama.

Awww.thanks alot JoleCole. I was in such a hurry to watch it, I went ahead and watch the youtube videos anyway, even with the bad audio. I have finished episode one so far but I will wait until I get the better auido episode before finishing it.

But I must say, I'm also loving ShaoQian's character. He's so obsessive and such a sociopath but there's just something about him that makes me love him (maybe, I'm hoping for the loving and tender side I'm hope is just buried deep inside him...very deep). But yea, ShaoQian reminds me of a cat, playing with its dinner.

I also don't think TongXue deserve all these criticisms. I like the fact that she's got a little meat. I hate it when all I can see of an actress is bones.

Gosh...I love the TongXue's drunken scene in ep. 4. She's soo much more adorable drunk than sober. I think that's her best scene so far. Mo ShaoQian's icy cold facade was totally breaking when she said "I took a peep at you while you bath"

I second the thing about Shao Qian not wanting to hear another man's name coming from Tong Xue's mouth again.

And thank you for elaborating about the separate beds! I was wondering why they have different beds/rooms when they're already... "intimate."

On a completely unrelated note, I love her drunk scene too! Tong Xue was cute and "open" to him. And then the mood died when she spoke about her speculation of him hating her.
