Oh my, how I agree with the road peeves. People who don't signal. People who drive 50 when the sign says 65 on the fast lane. People who suddenly stop for no reason. Cyclists in their full $1000 outfit hogging a whole lane.

This one really drives me nuts: jerks who shamelessly stop at the middle of the road to turn left where they shouldn't, thus blocking the whole left lane for a whole green light.

Should you honk retarded pedestrians who slowly and shamelessly cross the road during a left turn signal??

Oh and those pedestrians who jaywalk without even looking and blame the driver when accidents happen. Just because you are more seriously hurt doesn't mean you are in the right.

    Shame. Shame. Shame.

Be glad that you're not driving in my town. I meet people who drive like the description in my post so regularly that they have become peeves!

Getting asked the same question by the same person repeatedly. My answer have not change the 1st time you ask me, so why ask again. And if it DID change, I would of told you without you having to ask! Get a clue already.

Similiar to the above but there's a small difference. Getting asked question when I've already provided the answer! If I send out an email that read, "Party @ my place at 7pm", please do not call me up and ask, "So what time should I show up?" Uhm... try 7PM!!! Idiot!

People who said, "I don't care" and don't mean it!
So where you want to eat?
    I don't care.
    Okay, how about [someplace]?
Nah, I'm not in the mood for Italian.
    $#!@#*(!!
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

I could totally imagine you pulling off a Jeon Ji Hyun move in My Sassy Girl. Just go over and slap one of those guys over the head and yell out in a loud, drunk voice: "Move or else!" *then do a cute snarl*

I hate it when people -

    - change lanes or turn without the signal lights
    - tailgate
    - talk loudly on the cell while inside a movie theater
    - talk really loudly on the cell in public because they're afraid other people won't know that they have a phone
    - find the teeniest tiniest scratch (that needs a microscope to be seen) on a frame and then demand to return it for product defection
    - keep complaining that they're fat, when they're not (applies mostly to girls who KNOWS they aren't fat and just want to fish for compliments)
    - ask me if I see anything different with them on a certain day. I'm usually stuck cause I can't compliment or criticize them, and yet I can't say "Nothing" because then I'm showing insensitive I am. If a girl asks you this question, guys, you're dead.

Cars that appear out of no where at full speed. It's not just annoying it's dangerous. I remember one time I was walking from the locker room to the soccer field at my school for school soccer practice. Anyway you have to walk from the side walk to the road that comes out of the parking lot to get to the field and when the cars pass it's really hard to see students walking across and the students can't see the cars from the sidewalk. Anyway one day as I was just about to cross a car comes racing by, literally 2-3 inches from hitting me. And only teachers use that parking lot so it was a teacher! After this guy laughs and says they would have helped me up if I was run over. I was so mad! I was almost run over and this kid was laughing! That's another one of my pet peeves people who think they're funny when they're not.
Also I can't stand people who won't listen to reason.

People who think that my older sister is my twin sister, people who think that goalkeeping is a really easy position, and being known as, "Kiersten's sister". I HAVE A NAME!!!

I always -hated- it when people use the "..." punctuation.

I don't have really any weird ones, but one of my major pet peeves is people who lie through their teeth!!! I have some friends who lie so much that it pisses me off!! I mean, even when they are caught red handed, they still LIE and will not admit that they lied!AR....
Respect other people's opinions and views. If we learn how to do that than all of these fights and arguments will not occur.

Here is a partial list of things that annoy me:

    1. When people write email to me starting with my name. For example, if my name were George, and they write an email such as:

    George,

    I wondered if you...
What then, you might ask, would be more preferrable? Personally, I always begin an email with a greeting, such as Greetings George, Hi George, Hello George, Dear George, and so on. Even Yo George would be better than simply George. I find simply starting an email with one's name to be cold.

    2. When someone says "kindly do this" or "kindly do that". That sounds like a command. Why do you care if I do it kindly or if I do it more agnostically? Does it make a difference? Why can't they say the more pleasing word please or not use any adverb at all?

    That's it for today

I really hate it when people use "..." in a sentence when there's no need to. Am I the only one?

Ellipses (the proper name for "...") are sometimes used when a pause is required, but a comma seems too strong. A variation of this approach is to use the hyphen.

    Sometimes, I go hyphen-happy.

Some people put "..." at the end of every sentence. That's when it annoys me.

    Example:

Hi PJ.... I know you must be busy, but I have a favor to ask.... you know how I like to eat ice cream.... well, my mom won't let me!! I'm so depressed Can you give me some advice? Thanks....

That's too bad. I love using "..."! hahaha It's like a comma but noncommittal. In addition, I love semicolons. I didn't know there was a pet peeves thread, thanks for reviving PJ because I love to complain. Mine aren't really weird though.

My TOP 10 Pet Peeves are:

1.] People [well, men] who sit down next to me when I'm by myself catching a movie or eating lunch. Did it not occur to *you* that I wanted to be alone?

2.] People who wear tight clothing that really should not be wearing tight clothing. Don't flame me please!

3.] Long fingernails on men. eWw. Especially sharp pointy nails.

4.] Girls who complain about their looks but are camwh0res on FB, Myspace, or whatever.

5.] Eaters who never compliment the Chef when praise is well deserved.

6.] Women who shop for a really long time AND need company AND spend hours in one place AND need your constant attention and approval. Well, men too but I've never witnessed this in a man.

7.] Going to a cultural heritage site but looking down on or mocking the culture and heritage of the particular site. Don't be a hater.

8.] Turning on all the lights in the house but never turning them off afterwards.

9.] Littering in beautiful parks or preserved areas. Well, littering in general.

10.] Finally, people who comment on your food negatively while you are still eating.
    I like me.

You guys doing it have no effect on me, since I know you're doing it for fun, and I like you guys

But when someone is doing it for real, AND if I don't like the person, it does get annoying.

Kind of similar to yours, it's also annoying when someone asks me to do something by saying something like "you want to get me that" I mean, what if I don't want to? "You want to..." is also like (or it is) a command, which means if a boss says it then you don't really have another choice. Why couldn't they just ask normally like "can you..." or "please..."?
