Well, I read that in the novel, Ruo Xi has kissing scenes with 4th and 8th, and a bed scene with 4th (c'mon, she's a modern day girl!). But these scenes may not necessarily be shown on TV. E.g. in ROCH, Xiaolongnu and Yang Guo have plenty of kissing scenes, but no director has ever shown them kissing in all ROCH TV adaptations that I've seen.

BTW, anyone heard any news on the status of Tangren's lawsuit against Yu Zheng? I mean, how come he can get away with such blatant lock, stock and barrel copying of Bu Bu's story-line?

I hope the kissing and bedding scenes are deleted

I think the main reason why Korean dramas are so popular now is that the Koreans didn't stop people from uploading their dramas online, whereas TVB was dead against Internet piracy. Result: Korean dramas have far overtaken TVB dramas in popularity.

I don't know much about this Karen person and what's going on because I took a huge hiatus from Chinese stuff while I got obsessed with kpop.

Well, I'm sure Tangren is aware of LOCH08, CP3 etc not just on YouTube, but on YouKu, Tudou, etc. I think they only try to take it down before the series is broadcasted, but don't bother when it is being aired. But then again, it's like a half-hearted attempt, bcos I still saw CP3 episodes all over the Internet while they were promoting the series.

I don't think you can go wrong with an Iljimae adaptation. The only drawback is that Strange Hero may be compared with Iljimae, which is a classic. But to give them credit, Tangren did very well with LOCH08, even though people kept comparing it to the classic that was LOCH82.

We were all disappointed with Tian Ya Zhi Nu because Karen was hyping up YH-LSS reunion so much in the pre-publicity, then final product after waiting soooo long - CUT!!! ALL cut.

But since she took such a short time editing Strange Hero, looks like it's a straight-forward production. So what we see, we will get.

That's the point! LOL!!....I was sooooooooooooooooo excited for Tian Ya, and got the BIGGEST disappointment, which could have been the love story from my favourite couple...know what I mean?...hehehe.

But I'm sure that won't happen with Strange Hero....Karen adores Wallace, I mean she actually waited for him to rest-up from his previous series in order for him to accept the role in Strange Hero.
