I do like the take of this director though. Too bad he can't adapt any jin yong novels at least the best ones since they recently did or currently filming. New state of divinity was horrible attempt at teen capturing demo. This series still focus on eye candy, but props to the stunts. I'm sure the actors for this series will rise since people are always curious even if they're sick of jin yong adaption.
2017 Huang rong, who remind me of yang mi moe became quite famous recently starring in ton of dramas and net dreams with 5 this year. Cant believe she's like 30 because of her petite look. Turns out shes no newbie, but exposed as a fake dating contestant from those stage variety shows. i get gossip news recommendation while watching hsds on yt. All the girls in this series is older than the main protagonist. The character interaction and romance is near top notch, but the supporting is weaker especially for the righteous sects. No flashback to z3f.

Beginning to like this series XZ. Very sweet. Her eyes are very beautiful.

Like the parts where she told zwj that
(a) "If you like the song, I can sing for you everyday"
(b) "Wait". Then she took a handkerchief and start wiping zwj's "sweat".

But poor thing to date. Got slapped twice by YBH (wait till XZ come back as Persian leader and slapped YBH three times); got pushed to the ground by Song Qingshu; going to be chained until ZWJ borrowed the Yitian sword from zm (a few episodes away).

Three cheers to XZ. I will definitely go Persia and bring you back if I were zwj. :-)

I'm not usually into the martial scenes, but old Eagle King is pretty impressive. He really gets his time in the limelight on GMD!

His stances carry weight and I love him breaking that stick into two even before he started the fight. And all this after a wretched battle.

My heart ached when he spit blood... I must say I cheered long and loud when he twisted up that awful, lying Kong sect guy!

What annoyed me about the righteous sects, is except for Wudang, not one of them seemed to appreciate the nobility and loyalty of the Ming sect, nor seemed to feel bad kicking an old guy while he was down. Grrrrr!

ZZR's blithe expression throughout this (which the camera made a point of panning to) made me roll my eyes.

But of course, the hero of the day is WJ! ) One of his best scenes, not only is he powerful but he doesn't use it to prove his point instead in this version

This ZM is really pretty. I would say she's prettier than kitty lai and alysia chia. But in terms of acting, kitty lai is still the best.

Watched the battle of GMD last night. My one sentence review: "More epic and dramatic fighting than before but it didn't make me cry so something went wrong since I'm a crybaby and this should be one of the most intense and emotional scenes in the story".

I'll post a more detailed comment maybe tomorrow, when I watch the episodes from today later.

Somehow, still prefer Kitty Lai, in terms of looks and acting.
This zm is great because she is tall.
Strangely, unlike zm like liza wang, kitty kai or alysia, this zm looks better as a lady than a "guy".

Iirc, she bumps into the people Zhu Jiuzheng's cohorts (the ones who tried to scam young ZWJ saying XX was their savior) and forces them to tell her about the Island.
