Can anybody tell me the English title of the song? Is it the same title for both Canti's and Aaron's version?

    Thanks for your help.

What is Canti doing now? Did he quit the movie business?
Canti Lau is currently in Summer's Desire (the series with Huang Xiao Ming, Peter Ho, and Barbie Xu) as Huang Xiao Ming's charcter's lawyer.

Hi I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me, but I don't have much info to go on I was young when I saw this series and don't remember much, but I think it was TVB. There was a twin brother and sister and the setting was in ancient China. In part of the theme song, they were waving and smiling. It seemed like a more comedic phim bo with aspects of martial arts. I know it's not much, but I'm hoping a twin brother/sister series is easier to identify than twin brother series! I will probably recognize if I see the cover of the movie or hear the theme song, so if there's a site where I can browse these things, that may help. If anyone has any ideas on what this series may be, I'd appreciate it!

English title? Are you referring to the Chinese Melodies song called Show Me Your Heart?

Is that the song sung by both Canti & Aaron?

If yes, thank you for your help.

Default Chow Yun Fat and Dodo TV series

    Hi,

I am looking to find the title of the TVB series staring
Chow Yun Fat and Dodo Cheung.

What I remember is the characters
"muk juy fey" and "die mar sing"

and chow yun fat's character drew a turtle/tortoise picture for Dodo
Unfortunatley Dodo's character got killed off in the series.

Does anyone remember the title of this series
    (in both English and Chinese)

Also, I remember Chow Yun Fat and Dodo Cheung did three
long TV series. I beleive the one above is one of them and another
is "mong yung yan". What is the third one ?

    thanks

Were the twins Roger Kwok and Elvina Kong?

Road for the Heroes comes to mind

You're thinking of Chan Ching, but iirc Muk Jui Fei and Dai Ma Sing are from Man in the Net (or Mong Jung Yan). Dodo is Hei Mun in MitN and doesn't die, but her character Tong Tong dies in Chan Ching. Chan Ching is "The Brothers"

Gah, I can't remember the name of this one. I remember the scene with Gordon carrying the dead man's body in the snow, all dressed up like Miao Renfeng, back to the house where the man's wife was waiting for him to come home, and some scene with a man tied to an electric fence being electrocuted. It'll come eventually, I think... it's not a very high-profile serial at all, unfortunately. Iirc, the father was the "Master Law" in Ip Man 2, the muscular funny one who is the first to get beaten by Donnie on the round table.

    Hi,

Does anyone know the name of the "modern" TVB series
about a group of Super Agents/Detectives. The series
was made up of several smaller stories.

The secetary was, I believe, Lo "Money" Man Yee
(who usually hosts TV variety shows)

    thanks

In Canto it's called "Dai Ban Mat Ling", starring Shek Sau as the leader of the team. The cases involved guest stars such as Ray Lui and Austin Wai. I can't remember who the other members of the team were, though...

The short stories were quite tragic, as almost all the 5 villains had some redeeming quality which linked them to a real relationship with the team. Ray was genuinely in love with the female lead, iirc, while Austin and Shek Sau had actually sworn blood brotherhood while Shek went undercover to bust the triad gang Austin was in, and when the villains died the team did feel very sad.

Wow, Ian you are very good at remembering all these TVB classic series. I appriciate all your help in finding these titles.

Can I ask you for another TVB series title.
I remember it was a "modern" TVB series and the main focus was
a love triangle. In the finalie the leading guy picked one of the girls and this choice caused an outcry from the Hong Kong viewers.

They did a parody of this finalie on EYT (Enjoy Yourself Tonight)
and Lui Wai Hung (Chan) played the lead guy in the parody

Can you remember the TVB series title ?

....more info. Hong Kong viewers were unhappy with the lead guys choice because the lady he chose
    was kinda mad/kooky/stalker chic

I believe the lead actor was very popular on TVB but his
time on TVB didn't last very long. The lead actor also starred
in another TVB "modern" drama with Maggie Cheung Man Yuk
    (hope this sets the time-line)

Also I believe the girl the lead actor did not pick was played by
Chan Man Yee (but I could be wrong).

The girl that was picked was played by an actress that was in the
Miss Hong Kong contest (I think)

I've done some more research and I believe the lead guy is
    Lam, Wilson (Lam Chun-Yin)

Ooh, that's a name I haven't seen in a while. Can't help you there, sorry. The only two shows I recall with Wilson were this Shanghai triad one where he assembles a team for a mission which ends with most of them dying, and one modern drama in which he played a villain rapist who had Dodo Cheng defending him in court. She finds out he really is guilty and turns against him in the finale, tricking him into revealing that he has resistance to the effects of LSD (through regular ingestion) and was fully sober when he raped the girl. iirc the Shanghai triad one was pretty good, but I can't find it anywhere. Given the low profile it's unlikely that it'll be released on DVD, sadly.

He did act in other shows, but none of them come to mind...

Thanks for the reply, Ian. I was young at the time and didn't know names of most of the actors in shows I watched...I don't think it was Road for the Heroes though. In the show I watched, I think the main characters were actually twin brother and sister, not love interest like Road for the Heroes. It looks like a good series though, so I will try to check it out!
