Er... he actually looks like the cane candy. You know, that red and white J-shaped candy? Only it's blue/grey and white instead of red and white.
He should stick with formal black and white (or at least neutral colours) suits. He looks much better with them!
wait nicky just posted some photos....

Which one? tho I do remember one suit that was a bit too creative for Hu Ge... and Kevin Cheng too for that matter. Nicky I'm not surprised. He's like those upper fashion girls in Devil Wears Prada (minus the nasty attitude because he's such a darling) who likes to push the fashion edge. Kinda like Carrie Bradshaw without the obsession to Mr Big. But when Nicky dresses clasically, he's REALLY charming.
The second picture, that's NOT blood on his leg, no?
He's NOT using any stunt, is he? God, he's a bit too adventurous sometimes!
Is this show in the wiki list here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicky_Wu ? If not ,can you give me the Chinese title? TIA
I can't see it in that page (but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and didn't see it). But it's here: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Nicky_Wu
and here's the dramawiki page: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Qian_Niu_Hua_Kai_De_Ri_Zi

Hi 19ZQ76: in your wiki list, the title is "Remember I Love You" in 2008. I like him the character of his...remind me of himself but I don't like his end fate there.....it's another of Nicky's show that made me cry.....
Hi Icha, thanks for the link to Treasure Venture, I am onto it now.....
God I hope that's fake. I don't think most C-dramas or movies use stunt doubles to do a lot of scenes. They expect all the actors/actresses to do their own stunts. Like in BBJX, they only used stunt doubles for the girl's riding scenes and that was pretty much it. Most wu xia dramas don't use stunt doubles either. I recall reading how Liu Yi Fei and Huang Xiao Ming did all their own stunts in ROCH '06, including falling numerous times into freezing cold water.
HE ACTUALLY KISSED THE GUY?!?!?

C-dramas do use stunt doubles but Chinese actors do tend to do more than their Hollywood counterparts. When you use the real person, it looks much more real and you can get better shots. Often, it's a choice made on the actor's own initiative, and with wuxia being such a huge genre in China, actors tend to pick up skills that Hollywood actors wouldn't necessarily be thinking. I think most actors do what they're capable of doing, and more experience doing wuxia and stuff like that lets you learn to do these things. I'm sure there are always stunt doubles available, but a lot of the time, it's a matter of being able to and wanting to do something yourself, both for the sake of doing it yourself and for getting a better shot. In BBJX, I can't even see where a stunt double could be used 99% of the time. I'm pretty sure they used one for 14th's sword scene because it's kind of obvious when you can't see his face in all of the coolest shots.
Xiaolongnu swimming in ROCH06 was definitely not a scenario they could have got a stunt double for. It wouldn't have had the same effect if it were a stunt double doing it and you could only see her swimming from the back. It's the same thing anywhere else in the world (think Liam Neeson shooting in the subarctic), but budgets are often higher in other parts of the world so they don't need to be shooting in a lake in winter. Some of it might be done indoors (like in Harry Potter movies) but those have bigger budgets and you only need 2 hours worth of CGI work rather than 30 hours. But I know for a fact that LYF and HXM did not do all their stunts, though they might have done whatever they were physically capable of. With her dance background, LYF has greater capabilities than a lot of actresses because she's very flexible and doesn't need a double for scenes that require flexibility.
(Oops, that was lengthy.)
