I really enjoyed this series, but it has been at least 20 years since Ive seen it so the characters and plot is somewhat blurry to me. I remember really enjoying Simon's Yam's role as the villain and there were a few good side stories as well including Chung-yuen Yat-dim-hung character. I thought his character was really cool. Certainly wouldn't mind rewatching it. Does anyone have a source where I can stream it and watch it?

Watching it again as a grownup made me appreciate how charismatic both Simon Yam and Michael Miu were in their roles. Didn't really notice it much as a kid.

I did notice lots of characters of CLH in LOCH in MVs and YouTube... Interesting. TVB likes to use their stars in their series.

Story: Song Siu Ching reminiscing on her love story with Chor Lau Heung after he took her hairpin and left her in the Palace. I found the theme of Du Shang Xi Lou befitting her loneliness upon Chor tai-gor’s departure.

Du Shang Xi Lou (独上西楼) is part of Li Yu’s poem titled "Grief" (哀思 ai si), which in itself is the segment of "Happy reunion" (相見歡 xiang jian huan). The late, angelic Teresa sang Du Shang Xi Lou as part of her Dandan Youqing (Light Exquisite Feeling) album.

I have a new MV of CLH/SSC here. The theme is a bit sad (James Blunt's "You're Beautiful), but it kind of befits CLH's self-doubts, so I decided to use it.

Is that because I used James Blunt's music? Or because of the TVB? I have three CLH MVs/scenes at Dailymotion just fine...(they might be blocked soon...). Maybe I need to request that Santa provides us with a site that is not going to block the videos... #firstworldproblem...

Also, it just occurred to me that YouTube and Dailymotion block non-commercial fanmade videos... while they (at least YT) allow many hatred-based videos on their channels. What's that all about?...

Story: Chor Lau Heung was jealous with Fell Cut because Song Siu Ching took care of the assassin and spent a lot of time with the latter. His jealousy was totally unfounded because Siu Ching was just sympathising with Fell Cut's plight, but Chor tai-gor didn't know this by the time he found her. Music: Jealousy by Queen.

Dailymotion blocked my Jealousy MV as well last night. Interestingly, it didn't block my Storm fighting scenes MV. My theory is now because I used Queen and James Blunt songs for the two blocked MVs, instead of non Western songs. Lemme try with Leslie Cheung's song today and see what they'll do about it..,

Weird thing is, I noticed some The Foundation-related MVs in YT. I love those MVs, but I do wonder how the managed to evade YouTube algorithm. Perhaps by making the MV in a frame, hence the algorithm doesn't recognise it as a TVB frame? Alas, Windows Movie Maker doesn't allow me to do that...

I found Leslie Cheung's version on The Moon Represents My Heart (not the one with an introduction at the beginning; this is the one from his album I Am What I Am), hence I made a CLH/SSC video with that music. Hope Dailymotion leaves it be. If not, I have uploaded it to Vimeo as well... I truly love Leslie's take on the classical song here, although I love Teresa Teng's version too. Hope you enjoy it... And have a very Happy New Year!

The link to Vimeo is in my blog post. It's still rendering now, so I can't post the direct link to Vimeo yet. I do find streaming from the blog as a better option though, for for some reasons, it doesn't have as much timelag as the direct streaming from DM or Vimeo.

Oh, if anyone can tell me how to embed the Vimeo and Dailymotion (as in, non YouTube) videos directly here, that would be very much appreciated...
