Well, since I'm happy with the small serving, it means it's enough for me. American servings make you fat.

Thanks all for sharing. I'm going to Singapore next month, and will attempt to try all Singaporean food. Any good restaurants around Shangri-la that opens late, 2 or 4am?

Favorite food I found in Singapore is the Chicken Pie from Suntec, not sure where it is since we always order hotline...

For the rest of Singapore's cuisine... hmm.. just say that I still not convinced very much, see I am from overseas and mostly anyother chinese food, indonesian food, thai's food I have overhere is inferior to oversea. Of course I speak on foodcourt level , in upper level, you almost can found all you like to eat here.

    Funny, Yingying, you're funny!

@jay_z, Sg isn't a big country. It's easier if you don't limit yourself to a time or just an area. Extend it to anywhere in the central area. The Victoria food court (open til late hour too) offers a good range of local delights at satisfactory prices, the Bugis Junction which you will reach there in minutes when you take a walk is quite a shopping haven (gifts and such).

im singaporean but i'd never found most singaporean food delicious ~ but im one of those with rather 'acquired taste' (alright, weird taste is more like it) but i think theres food everywhere in singapore...

even stranger bit is, no matter what the time is, there will be people dining. T_T

people will be eating at all sort of hours.....

but a typical food court sells...typical food that you can easily get from one shop or the next.

(i eat at home 90% of the time, and the remaining 10%, if i can help it, i dine in restaurants.)
    o wilku mowa...♪

The only thing I need to know is that I don't know anything.

I love their Singapore Satay with mild spicy peanut sauce and cubes of steamed glutinous rice. And also their balck pepper crab, I really found it delicious.
