Can anyone name some of the good shows Kathy's been in when she was at TVB?.

she played Ling, sister to Alex Man's character in Feud of Two Brothers (Loh Man Dai Hung). this is one of the best series in the 80s. includes Alex Man, Carol Cheng, and Carina Lau. remember the final scene where Carol is in a coma and tears? i think this is either the first or one of the first shows Kathy was in.

She's my most favorite actress....the first actress I ever truly liked. She looks amazing for someone who's turning 42 soon.


Out of all her series, my most favorite one is Being Honest. Time Before Time is also incredibly good.

No way... she's turning 42? WOW. The series with Yu Bo wasn't that long ago, yea I don't see a wrinkle. But she's really skinny, she wasn't fat in Sword of Conquest, but she looked healthy. In Ao Jian Jiang Ho, it looked like her skin was stretched out or something, like a bad face lift. But that's IMO.

It has been the longest time since I've seen Kathy act; until I've stumbled upon The Eagles Shooting Heroes where Kathy portrayed the role of Bao Xi Ruo. Immediately after she appeared, I literally dropped my jaw and was so impressed by how youthful she look; especially for a woman in the 40s. Her skin is just too fair and too perfect, it's both fascinating and enviable!

The last time I saw her was in Time Before Time and Secret of the Heart; because I don't watch many Mainland production, its hard to support Kathy's series. But by and by, her agelessness is just mesmorizingly stunning; she can pass as someone in her late 20s, LITERALLY!

In TESH (aka LOTCH 'o8), her portrayal of BXR is just impeccable; she looked so fragile and elegant in her royal outfits. Even in her more humble peasent-wear, her figure radiates elegance and grace like none others! And her face is just so welcoming that immediately, you are drawn into her story... And as everyone knows, BXR dies and that just made me cry tear-loads. She did a great job as Yuan Hong's mother (though she most definitely can pass as his sister) - she has a very maternal appeal about her that is very sexy!

Her chemistry with Jia Ming is also please to watch; though I still think Jia Ming is best paired with Amy.

The scene that I remember most was the one where the pair took turn slapping the other; and reconcile, it made me cry so much, and was so unexpecting!


I have to go out and find more of Kathy's series, I never knew how much I've missed her until years after I last saw her. OH, THE HAPPY DAYS!

Yea, of course it is released in Viet dubbed. That is one of her old series that was released in 1988. It just released on DVD in Viet dubbed last year. It is a great series and I really recommend it! There aren't any English subbed versions.
