i said it from the beginning that ruby is a bit too old and not beautiful enough to play this role and immediately got insulted by a die hard fan. i'm not sure if inviting liu tao would be a good move on ruby's part since i find liu tao to be significantly prettier and a better actress. i think it's not the hairstyle that makes ruby look aged. you can tell that even in the commoner outfit she looks older than the men. i think she's cute, but not stunning enough for this role (don't get me wrong, i liked her in hzgg more than vicky and also in duke of mount deer). i think she's adorable but not a talented or beautiful actress.

i think the princess/queen hairstyle can look good on another actress just not on ruby.

anyhow, i think her friendship with wallace is endearing, but i agree that this series is lacking in the beautiful women department. i guess the men make up for it.

I like Ruby, I enjoy watching her dramas but yeah, I agree that she is not STUNNING looking enough to make it believable that ALL these men would fall for her. She's just cute and adorable looking enough to be some side character maybe, I guess? Like in the duke of mount deer...
Anyway, I still think the hair on the princess/queen outfit makes her look aged more so than the commoner outfit, I do agree that she still looks "mature" in those outfits but the queen/princess outfit makes it far worse... Anyhow I will still be looking foward to watching this.

OH Wow! I can't believe the clothes and hair makes Ruby look much older! Ruby still has a baby face and looks young, but I hope that isn't the only clothes she wears. I think the reason why people might think she is too old for the guys is because she has been in the industry for so long that, even I feel like she is too old. But when I actually look at her age, she is fine. I think she would be fine for the role. I just hope they give her better outfits.

Aww I've never seen Wallace and Ruby in a drama before, so I am excited to see the results.

Hopefully this drama can bring alot of great people to act in. I miss Alec Su, and I really hope he guest stars. I also hope for Liu Tao, she is so beautiful. It would be great seeing all these great actors.

YK is the oldest among the husbands and boyfriends here - he's born in Jan 1979. Ruby is born in Jan 1976. Wallace is born in Dec 1979. The rest of the guys are born in the 1980s.

Actually I don't think the real age matters. It's how "old" the look/face is compared to the co-stars/love interests, which matters.

I don't the clothes make actor look older just the coloring of it make her look older. I definitely prefer her in commoner clothes or less accessories would be better

^ Yah, really not liking the hairstyles of this series. The hairstyles are not flattering any of the actresses, especially Ruby's, which makes her look older than she usually does. As much as people complain how Ruby is getting old, I don't really find that when she wears modern attire. It's strange. She also looked quite nice in MRXJ.

They look like they're buddies in the "couple pics". Actually, that one pic where they have their arms around each other looks like me when I'm trying to boss around my younger male cousin or "persuade" him to take my side in an argument. Their matching bracelet is nice, but also looks simple and easily found from a street vendor lol. I'm guessing it's prob more expensive though.
