i didnt see a thread on vienent wat seris did he od after setealling dragon echanging phoenix with zhang ting. i think he is so cute eventhough his teeth are crooked but he can act luuuv him so much in mulan and hoped that mulan whould choose him but already know thaet she wolldnt so ruined teh einding ofr me can someone post pictures of him.

You are talking about Vincent Jiao right? Well I think he is a very good actor and I enjoy watching his series. I thought he was cute in SDEP with Zhang Ting, but I liked him best in Heroine of the Yangs with Amy. He was pretty good in Dagger Lee, but I didn't really like his character.

I think he/she is talking about Vincent Jiao. He is one of my most favorite Taiwanese actors. He is in a lot of series after Tou Long Zhuan Feng part 1 such as Long Xia(not released yet), Fei Dao Wen Qing(part 2 to Xiao Li Fei Dao, only released in Chinese), and many others that I can't remember right now. I saw him in a number of series including Fei Dao Wen Qing and he is a great actor. I am glad he wasn't in part 2 of Tou Long Zhuan Feng since that series is really bad(no offense to anyone who likes it).

I have seen Vincent Jiao in many series but I like him the most in Stealing Dragon Exchanging Phoenix 1. I am currently re-watching SDEP 1. I admire his calm composure and winsome humour in there. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> He The first time I watched it, though I enjoy watching it, but to me, it was just an average production on the whole. Some parts are really ridiculous. Ironically, the second time round, I find myself enjoying it more. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> I guess its because these past few weeks, I have been in a very bad mood thus this comedy helps to liven my spirits. Vincent looks cute with Zhang Ting and also that actress who acts as Caiqing. I think I am weird...because I can't help feeling that it would be nice if he could end up with both. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

SDEP 2 is a great disappointment, not only because of Vincent's disappearance but also, to a large extent, due to the crappy storyline. I simply gave up halfway.

Anways, I also thought SDEP I was an average series at best. If it wasn't for the good casting and chemistry among the characters, I might not even have wasted my time. I was so anxious to watch the sequel, but after 3 tapes, I couldn't bare the torture anymore and had to quit. Thank goodness Vincent didn't agree to do the sequel. I'm hoping Dagger Lee 2 will be better. Didn't really like the Dagger Lee, due to the depressing storyline, but since Vincent is in it, I'll give it a try. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

One of his best role is in Mulan. Too bad Mulan had to go and marry General Li. Lose to another Vicent!!! I also love his role in Heroine of the Yang. Too bad he isnt doing many series lately--what was his last role and what is his next role? Hopefully he is not retiring so soon.

I totally agree with you about Tou Long Zhuan Feng part 2. Gosh that series was really stupid!!! I only finished it since I wanted to see the ending. Part 1 wasn't the greatest but was a lot better. But the show was only average overall.

Part 2 of Xiao Li Fei dao is better than part one in some cases since it is shorter. Part 2 is sad too but the ending is a little bit better than part 1. You have to see it to know what I mean.

To Hkopinions, No Vincent is not retiring at all. He is actually in a lot of series lately. Most of them are ancient ones too since the fans like to see as a Da Xia. He was recently in one with Peter Ho and some other ones that I don't remember. It's just that they aren't released yet so you may not know about them. But Vincent is still in a lot of series.

Yup, actually, I quite admire Vincent too. In fact, I have seen him in quite a number of series like Hua Mulan, White Snake and Green Snake (he acts as Monk Fahai), Heroine of the Yangs and some others that I can't recall offhand. But he caught my attention most in SDEP 1. He is humourous, cool and intelligent in here. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> My most fave character in SDEP 1 is actually his character, Zhu Shou ( the emperor). Yes, SDEP 2 is quite a lame drama. I simply couldn't bring myself to continue watching it. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I haven't watched Xiao Li Fei Dao yet. Who else acted in it? I think I have to wait till its shown on TV, then only I get a chance to watch since I never had the habit of renting tapes.

Yea, part 2 of SDEP is really boring. I can't believe that I actually finished it!!I only did since I was curious about the ending. Vincent was my favorite character in part 1 too. I didn't notice him until I saw Xiao Li Fei Dao. He is really good in there. Other stars in there are Xiao Qiang(she had great chemistry with him and was really pretty in there), Alyssa Jia(She was really cute and perfect for her role), Jason Wu(I really loved him in the role of Ah Fei), Fan Bing Bing(in the second half, really cute in there too), YU Fei Hong(didn't really like her but she was ok) and many other stars from China. THe first half was pretty good but the second half was really boring. I liked part 2 in some cases better than part 1. I like the cast for part 1 more though.
I highly recommend this series. You may like Vincent more after you see this. I will talk more to you later! Take care and stay happy!

The cast for Xiao Li Fei Dao sounds good, though I don't know who is Yu Fei Hong. It has been ages since I last saw Xiao Qing in a serial (the last one I saw was a modern drama where she acted with Lin Ruiyang). Both Fan Bingbing and Xiao Qiang are very beautiful actresses in my view. I presume Jason Wu is Wu Jing or?

I hope that this will be shown on TV soon. Then I can watch it and voice my views. It sounds like a great catch. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> It seems that Vincent Jiao seldom acts in modern dramas since practically all the series of his I know of are ancient.

I really liek Vincent as well- he's by far one of the more talented actors that has both charms and charisma <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> There's soemthing about him that makes him looks really awsome- like that sense of seriousness, mix with cool and ease postures; and his smiles are deadly. lolz. (esepcailyl in ancient series). ehhe as debated before, i'd say vincent can do an excelent job if he were to be portraying chor lau heung. i luv all of his roles, he's great in all of them-- even the Dager lee one (sad and poor story line, but he did one hella job doing it-- minus the hair, he's still great- haha how many guys can acutally still look "tight" when wearing curlys? ahah not many)

i luv him in SDEP!--- lost interests in the second part becuz there was no vincent; don even mention the other guy arghhhh.. he's a disgrace to vincent's "Chu Tho" character.
