yes, i really wonder why they dress GX up like some tribal, mongolian girl when she's a han girl and very much their enemy at that point in time. those chunky earrings and all make her look rather weird, it'll be so much better if they just dressed her up in simple han clothes, like the 95 ROCH, the dressing for GX in there was simple yet lovely. one thing i noticed in ZJZ's wuxia productions are the sometimes outrageous dressings for some of the characters. like Gongsun Lu'e's tree gown, Li MoChou's weird hair in ROCH, GJ's leather jacket and HR's halter top in LOCH etc.

She looks really pretty in those pictures with the green background. When I first saw Yang Mi, I thought she was really pretty but later she appeared in those ROCH costumes and hairdos that were postively terrible and that distracted me from her good looks.

i get the feeling that the ROCH costume director/crew purposefully made every female characters costume ugly (except for sln) so that lyf could stand out. if they made yang mi's costume beautiful then lyf will not stand out as sln and many members of the audience will complain that yang mi should have been sln or that lyf is not pretty enough to be sln when there are more beautiful women playing minor characters in ROCH.

but yang mi is beautiful...

Oh my god..she is so pretty!!!! all the pictures with the green background are my favorites. She look so beautiful and innocent. I don't know what was the crew of ROCH intention when they put her into those horrible costume.

haha..its a conspiracy lol ! i know what u mean though, i also think they intentionally made xln's costume nicer because they wanted lyf to stand out, and rightfully so, she is the female lead afterall and lyf isnt exactly the most polish thespian. it probably isnt that difficult for someone else to steal her spotlight in terms of having better acting abilities. yang mi is so cute, if she was a incredible actress as well, then lyf really has something to worry about. lol

still, they should have given Guo Xiang more decent costumes and hairdos. In some pictures, Yang Mi's face looks too thin. I think she looks best with a little bit more meat on her face like in those pctures with the green background. She looks like she has a slight Ying Gou bi, or am I mistaken?

Yup, she look a little thin on some of the interview clips. Maybe she had to lose some weigh for the series.
