Was Yau Chui Gei angry at Ma Yuk for undercutting him?
In LEGEND OF THE CONDOR HEROES, Ma Yuk traveled to Mongolia for the purpose of helping Gwok Jing to improve his martial arts. Ma Yuk's reason for doing this was that he did not approve of the way that his junior apprentice brother, Yau Chui Gei, handled the incident with the Gong Nam 7 Freaks, and wanted to ensure that the Freaks' student, Gwok Jing, could compete fairly against Yau Chui Gei's student, Yeung Hong.
Was Yau Chui Gei ever angry at his elder apprentice brother for cutting him off at the knees like that? I imagine that most of us would be pretty upset at a colleague who was undermining our efforts behind our backs. How did Yau Chui Gei forgive Ma Yuk for that one?

I don't think so. MY's is his good elder martial arts brother and also the leader of QZ sect. I don't think QQJ doesn't really care about victory that much anyway. He wanted to admit defeat when the freaks demanded a 3 competition. His ultimate goal is to locate the child of YTX's and GXT's child anyway.

I don't think it was even hinted at in the book that YCG was sore or angry.

What makes you think it was not QQJ himself who asked MY to go to Mongolia to help GJ? Since QQJ could not do it himself, he might ask his elder martial brother to do so. Then in front of the 7 Freaks (or 6 Freaks, to be precise), MY could come up with an excuse that he came up to help with his own intention, not because his brother QQJ asked him to. That's a possibility, right?
