My Sassy Girl Remake

We found out recently that Hollywood remade the Korean movie “My Sassy Girl” (2001), the hit based off novellas posted on the Internet about one guy’s funny, romantic, and sad relationship with a girl he saves from a train. The US version stars Jesse Bradford and Elisha Cuthbert (the ‘sassy’ girl). There’s no official release date yet for this movie but imdb.com‘s production notes says it’s “Completed”. Let’s hope it translates better than “Il Mare” (2000) (“The Lake House” (2006) starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock) for the Western screens.
