Adam Cheng Speaks at Lydia Shum’s Memorial Service

Ever since Hong Kong entertainer Lydia Shum (Fei Fei) passed away, much blame and scrutiny was placed on the actions of her former husband Adam Cheng for supposedly neglecting his ex-wife and daughter Joyce Cheng. Adam was especially criticized for his lack of presence during Lydia’s funeral in Vancouver. During the memorial service, Adam refuted these injustices amidst heckling from some of the audience. Joyce commented that many news arose from misunderstandings and that the focus of the event was to remember her mother, not the gossip.
In the end, as outsiders, how can we know what truly happens in another one’s family?
