Gigi Lai gives birth to twins

Actress Gigi Lai is finally a mother.
The 39-year-old went through a Caesarian section in a Hong Kong hospital last Saturday. The older twin sister weighs 2.73kg while the younger sister weighed in at 1.36kg.
Gigi and her husband, Patrick Ma, have been working hard for a child and a successful artificial insemination procedure finally granted their wish.
Gigi was originally scheduled to give birth in August but the couple decided to bring the date forward to an auspicious date.
Her elated husband was all smiles when he told reporters the good news. The 53-year-old businessman even invited the reporters to a meal after giving the good news.
Patrick revealed that Gigi is happy, although she is tired from the process. He also declined to publicize his daughters’ photos, citing privacy concerns.
“The babies want their privacy, so I won’t publicize the photos.”
