Faye Wong enjoys life while ex-husband Dou Wei struggles

Back when they were together, Faye Wong and ex-husband Dou Wei both enjoyed soaring popularity. But how things have changed since.
While Faye is busy shopping in Hong Kong and basking in bliss from her marriage with Li Yapeng, her ex-husband Dou Wei faces bleak album sales and has been reduced to riding a bicycle.
Dou Wei and Faye were married in 1996 and had a daughter. After a brief three-year marriage, they split when a third party came into the picture.
In his heyday, Dou Wei was a famous musician with countless female fans admiring his musical talent.
However, now at 40 years old, he is facing a huge dip in popularity and his new album received little attention.
He was even said to have resorted to calling up the media personally to get them to promote his album.
The visibly-rotund singer was recently seen riding a bicycle with his girlfriend back to their place. The pair reportedly started dating after Dou Wei got into trouble for arson back in 2006.
Faye, on the other hand, celebrated her 41st birthday in style with hubby Yapeng by her side.
She has been busy prepping for her Beijing concert in October and in a recent Elle magazine interview, she revealed her thoughts on her highly-anticipated comeback concert.
“I don’t know fancy tricks or changes; I just want to sing and express myself through music.”
