Sammi Cheng lends her support

Rumours of Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui reigniting their passion for each other have been all over the news recently.
As reporters continued to hound Sammi regarding the alleged reunion, the weary singer only replied that she has nothing more to say.
However, when reporters mentioned the recent report that Andy had resorted to abuse to get rid of ex-girlfriend Michelle; Sammi immediately jumped to Andy’s defence.
“I think anyone who knows Andy or has worked with him knows that Andy is not one to do this kind of thing.”
When asked how she plans to celebrate her birthday on the 19th – many speculate that Sammi and Andy may go public with their relationship near their birthdays – Sammi said that she’ll be in Guangzhou.
“I’ll be celebrating it while working. I’m having a concert on that day so perhaps the company will celebrate my birthday with me.”
On the other hand, the man in question finally broke his silence after one week.
Andy clarified that recent reports of his abuse are untrue and urged the media to stop adding salt to Michelle’s wounds.
“It’s unfair to her and her family. I am truly sorry for all these. I hope everyone can give her space to live her own life.”
When asked about how he is going to celebrate his birthday, which is only a few days before Sammi’s, Andy gave the same answer as Sammi.
“I’ll be celebrating it while working.”
