Is Eelyn Kok obsessed with the number 10?
Not only is her new martial home’s unit number #10-10, she is getting married at 10am on October 10 (10/10/10)!
Eelyn explained that they decided on the date because it is the same as their home’s unit number and also it is easy to remember.
“It’s not me with the bad memory, it’s him! This date is easy to remember so he wouldn’t have a reason to forget. So it’s all because of him, haha!”
So does that mean that her fiancé has a track record for forgetting important dates?
“Not really but he does seem to be forgetful about some small things. Take for example the food I dislike; one moment he remembers, the next he forgets.”
Eelyn last announced her intentions to get hitched during a press conference for Precious Babes back in May and she confirmed the wedding date when xinmsn asked her during the recent press conference for The Family Court.
Eelyn revealed that for the registration ceremony, everything will be kept simple. Relatives and friends will be invited to a meal after the ceremony but there might not be a wedding dinner.
“I’m not sure about the dinner; could be next year, or there might not even be one.”
Eelyn admitted that having been to so many wedding dinners, she felt that it would be meaningless to hold one if there isn’t a special theme to go with it.
Even though the wedding date is nearing, Eelyn confessed that she doesn’t feel very excited yet.
However, she was pretty excited when they went to pick their wedding rings.
“I was the one who chose the rings! He said I had better taste; I think he was trying to indirectly praise himself since I picked him as my husband.”
The actress also added that she will not be wearing a wedding gown for the wedding registration.
“I’ve worn the wedding gown countless times when modeling and acting so I will not be wearing it again.”
The actress will be moving in with her hubby into their marital home once they get the key to their apartment and are done with the renovations.
As Eelyn will be busy filming a new drama all the way till December, she will be leaving the preparations to her future hubby to settle.
