The Return of the Condor Heroes 1995

Carman Lee did a very good job portraying the coldness of XLN but it made the character very boring as for Idy Chan she showed a more cute and outgoing XLN. Carman did portray it the closests to the novel but i still like Idy's XLN better. Though Carman Lee looked exactly like a XLN with her beauty and costume, very natural looking. For Yang Guo, Louis did a good job but like others it would be better if they had a younger boy to play the younger YG. For the cast the older generation people in the vast from 1983 version was better. For the girls the ones in this version are much cuter :) Both couples have a great chemistry together. So to conclude everything i enjoyed this adaption and it's my 2nd favourite after 1983 version.

I'd agree Mo Kei would have to be my least favourite out of the 3 heroes from condor trilogy. I didn't like the fact that at the end he left the Ming Sect and lived hapilly with Zhao Min without caring about the martial arts world. I loved everything about this series, cast, costumes, fighting scenes, and songs.

Being the closests portrayal to the novel is one thing, having the skills to convery the character is another. If people can't recognize Barbara Yung's amazing and natural talents, you don't know what real acting is. Athena was too plain and simple as HR. I didn't sense enough intelligence from her though I'll admit she was pretty cute. Overal, Athena as well as this version is just average. Nothing spectacular but not bad.
