Forensic Heroes II
Forensic Heroes II 2008

this series totally disappointed. i couldn't stand the fact that bobby, frankie and yoyo, who were instrumental in making the original FH drama a huge success, were sidelined to become supporting characters in the so-called sequel.

i did not like the fact that the cases were so simplistic to solve and that dead bodies could still "move". and unforgivable oversight from the director. the romance of kevin cheng and charmaine sheh ate up a lot of screen-time, which could have been used to develop bobby's, yoyo's and frankie's story more.

what a waste of bobby, yoyo and frankie.

i think this drama was enjoyable, but there's just too much ott acting from myolie wu esp. i couldn't stand watching her at times, and i didn't know how i managed to pull through the whole 21 episodes. but sunny chan and ron ng did a pretty good job in this drama.

and agree with the rest. this drama has a very weird ending. so is there s sequel or not?

i have loved hong kong police dramas, and this one is no exception. i was actually disappointed by the first few episodes, which was pretty draggy, but i'm glad that the pace picked up after episode 10.

the cases in this drama is quite interesting, but i thought that the way they solved some cases were lame, which just left me going "huh?, that's it?".

but still, strong performances by the veterans, esp felix wong and michael miu. nancy wu did a great job too! vincent wong is slowly but surely improving!

i thought that this drama was very good. i really like the way they took on familial love in here. it was really very heart-warming and heart-wrenching.

stellar performances by the cast, esp the veterans, and one of the best dramas of 2010!

i had high hopes for this because i adore moses and charmaine. however, this drama left a very bitter after-taste in my mouth. i found the kam family very irritating (except susanna kwan). the clapping was really very cheesy and it got onto my nerves. i did not like the use of those cartoon effects. it cheapens the drama. a good comedy should rely on purely on humor to win over the audience, and not resort to such no-taste tactics.

to manytimesover, i, as a moses and charmaine fan, don't even enjoy this show, so i won't recommend people giving this drama a shot if possible. moses and charmaine have performed better in other comedies. their performance in here is mediocre at best, terrible at worst.

i never expected myself to like this drama as well. michael tao and jessica hsuan exhibited really very good chemistry. it's such a pity they couldn't end up tgt though. :( brilliant performance by bowie lam as the main villain.

kiki sheung's character got a bit too irritating for me though. joyce tang is good at acting innocent and she is really funny!

actually, i thought i won't enjoy it. i had zero interest in this drama because i don't like dramas of this time period. my dad rented the dvds, so i managed to watch it with him. it was really surprisingly good. as someone who watched this first before i watched rosy business, i actually like this one a lot better, probably because sheren has really made this her role and nailed it perfectly. the rest of the cast gave very stellar performances as well, but i felt that some characters were not as developed as i would like it though.

i dun think this drama is for everyone because it gets quite depressing at times, but this is a very moving portrayal of how people and how life was like during war. after watching the last episode, i felt as if i have lived with the characters for the past 50 years. this is how great an impact this drama has made on me.

the casts and crew deserve their awards. very well-deserved!
