Biography

Calvin Chen Yi Ru is a Taiwanese singer and actor who was born on November 10th, 1980 in Taiwan. He graduated from one of the top high schools in Taiwan, Jianguo High School, and attended the Simon Fraser University in Canada for his college education. He eventually received a master's degree in Economics from the University of Victoria. He speaks Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese, and understands Cantonese. Calvin Chen Yi Ru is a member of the boy band Fahrenheit. He was the third member to join the group, and is the tenor singer in the group. He represents "Handsome" within the group. Calvin Chen Yi Ru has also had a rather extensive TV acting career, with his first appearance coming in 2005 on "KO One." He has since been in as many as 12 TV shows and programs, including TV shows such as "The X-Family," "Romantic Princess," "Love Buffet," and TV programs such as "Sunshine Nation 2008," "The Buzz," "Entertainment Live," and "Us Girls."
