Biography

After starring as Dao Ming Si in the immensely popular Taiwanese idol drama "Meteor Garden" and its sequel "Meteor Garden II", Jerry Yan quickly became one of the most popular and recognized Asian actors internationally. Jerry's music career as a singer began as one of the 4 members of the widely popular Taiwanese boy band F4, which was created after the same fictional F4 group in "Meteor Garden". The members of the band also pursued separate music and acting careers after the "Meteor Garden" hype. In 2004, Jerry came out with his first solo album, "The First Time" (第一次). However, despite rumors of disbanding, F4 was renamed JVKV (taking the first letter of its four member's names in descending order of their year of birth) in 2007 due to copyright issues and released their third album, "Waiting For You".
