A man and a woman walking on opposite sides of a large, busy road...he is looking for someone, and when he sees her, he crosses...and then he takes out a gun and points it at her as she turns to face him, wide-eyed with surprise. He hesitates to shoot... A Love to Kill is one of the most stylish and well-produced Korean dramas I have watched. It is arguably not the most romantic, but it...

A.K.A. Ijuksa Plot: Excellent cinematography, a haunting soundtrack, excellent chemistry between the lead actors... if these are what you look for in a Korean drama, "A Love To Kill "(also known as Ijuksa) would be a good choice. This drama stars well-known dancer and singer Rain/Bi as Kang Bok Goo and the fresh-faced Shin Min Ah as Cha Eun Seok. Bok Goo comes from a highly troubled background. His father was a gangster, and his mother left...

Story Fu Jiu lies seriously injured on the grass. His eyes are filled with grief- this indicates that a hopeless love is arriving. A woman declares her love for him to get rejected so she intends to jump into the river. See heartless he is – when she...

I love Rain, no matter what he does. He fascinates me and I find him extremely beautiful and sweet. I liked him in this series and I also liked Shin Min-Ah, but at times the story kind of dragged and at the end, after Min-gu is out of the picture, I just couldn't understand why Bok-gu couldn't fulfill his brother's wish and so stoically refused to see Eun-suk regardless of how much pain he felt. And why did Eun-suk insist on staying away from Bok-gu? Her family was a bunch of useless twits, but they all seemed to survive well enough after she was out of the movie business. Maybe the writers were trying to say that their love was so desperate that there was just no alternative for them but to die together. Anyway, I was glad to see the end of this series. It was difficult to get through the last three or four episodes and have any sympathy for anyone. I thought the actress who played Da-jung was very pretty, but she didn't fit the role very well. She couldn't see the boy who really loved her right in front of her eyes. The one redeeming factor in this whole series was Rain. He's the only reason I watched it and the only reason I stayed with it to the end. Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time on this show.

dear shin min ah,rain, and the rest of the cast and staff of a love to kill, this is a postscript of my letter dated may 24th 2007 to you.it is my privelege to be a part of those who were given the chance to comment on your drama a love to kill.for me it was a blessing that i had the chance to watch it for it offered a lot of lessons in life.the writer was able to put the viewers hearts out of shape by its so so sad ending…..yet it was like it was trying to knock our hearts on lessons of great love and sacrifice…..the drama a love to kill therefore was a great masterpiece made out of great love than what humans perceive it to be…..hats off also to the entire cast and to the two talented leads shin min ah and rain…could it be that the two protagonists understood what love and sacrifice are that even in this drama they were able to draw much felt tears from their own and from the viewers as well…i was really touched by rain and shin min ahs portrayal that inspite of their being young and absorbed by their multiple talents and charisma they acted as natural and real as they can be..thanks to the good performances of the other cast as well…we are forever grateful to you for the great things you have done to a love to kill…a love to kill has done great by sticking to its ideals and following the heart and good motives of the story……god bless ….

I love this drama! Kept watching episodes after episodes non-stop. It really made me overwhelmed with all the emotions for days, which means it really moves. I'm not a crazy fan of Bi or something to stand for his side, but he acted well, indeed! Talking about his acting, I also watched and like "Full house" and "Let's go to school, Sangdoo" a lot, but this one is his best, I think. Same credits for Shin Min Ah_ Her role is supposed to illustrate a normal, yet angel-like girl, and it suits her well. Surely, the OSTs were such an integral part of this drama! Only, the ending could really have been more meaningful if the couple could just have been blessed together, erasing all the barriers and social's evil mouth's criticism; so that Book Goo is no longer obsessed with the idea of class differentiation, or discrimination_ whatever! That's what they fought hard for!!!...Anw, I think it's a very good one! Would rate it 4.5!
