It's pity that you do not appreciate this series. I like it very much as the story is realistic and touching. Moreover we can find many elements of Korean Series in the later famous Series. The acting is super-good. They are not over-acting and everyone has develop their character in a subtle way.
Do hope that you can have patience and re-watch the series
