I was pretty skeptic about this film at the beginning because I didnt want to know about her parents, but it actually turned out to be one of the best Korean movies I've seen. It has the whole package. Romance tale with her mum and a subplot of herself and the guy she likes. I personally didnt see the hints that he likes her so it was really surprising when I found out. A good surprise that is. 'The Classic', the name itself articulates its timeless value on television. It is a true romance tale that flows through two generations showing that so loves never end...

What can I say!? "The Classic" is one of my all time favorite movie. It's humorous, romantic, and breath-taking. =) Also, I love it how the director or whoever put so many irony in the film. That's the kind of movie i enjoy watching. Believe it or not, the first time I got my hands on this film, I watched it 3 days in a row. =) I still watch it alot. This film rocks!

A really good story, although frustrating at times, as are all movies when you know, and don't like, what the ending will be. There were some funny bits too, to take the edge off things :)
It seemed that the daughter's half of the story was not really a half at all - it got a quarter of the time, and about an eighth of the effort; this relationship seemed very shallow, rushed and weak compared to the mother's story. I'm being too critical though - it was an excellent movie.
