Rating: four-point-five

Cast:
(William) So Wing Hong: Chan Tai Hei
On the actor: In this series, I don't think that William did all that well in playing his part. I mean don't get me wrong, he is a good actor. However, it just didn't seem like he was playing the role with enough emotions.

On the character: William's character is very boring. The reason is because every show you watch the characters do the same thing. It was quite old in my opinion.

(Flora) Chan Wai San: Foon Jie
On the actor: Flora really got into the character in this series. There wasn't a second when I doubted her ability to act. She really impresses me as an actress. She is very dedicated and really natural with her roles.

On the character: Flora's character was very cool. Her character was clever. Overall,I think Flora's character kicked butt.

Cheung Chi Kwong: Ng Sam Sing
On the actor: Mr. Cheung did a very fine job in playing his role. He had the every detail that made his character believable.

On the character: Cheung's character was another of my favorite characters. His character wasn't your normal everyday house keeper. No siree bob! His character was clever and unique. I especially like the accident he had when he said master.

Wong Lam: Yung Yung
On the actor: I don't think that Wong Lam did all that well in this show. Her acting was kind of unbelievable. Although some parts she showed tremendous improvements, she should have stayed that way throughout the show.

On the character: I thought that Wong Lam's character was very cute. She was your normal rich bratty little girl. Though her character was bratty, towards the end she was beginning to understand life a little better.

Au Kam Tong: Mo Loong
On the actor: I really don't have much to say about Au Kam Tong. His acting was okay in my opinion. Though I really did not care much for his character in this show.

On the character: Au Kam Tong's character was your average guy. His secret crush for Wong Lam's character made him seem more interesting. Without that detail I would have cared less for Au Kam's character.

Actor's ratings:
William So - ****
Flora Chan - *****
Cheung Chi Kwong - ****
Wong Lam - ***
Au Kam Tong - **

The Story:
The story starts out with Foon Jie (Flora) getting married. Later on something goes terribly wrong and her husband was taken to a jail right after their wedding ceremony. Foon Jie traveled all around hoping for someone who would be able to save her husband. When Foon Jie first ran into Chan Tai Hei, she mistakens him for some sort of crazy pervert. Later on,she works for Chan Tai Hei and forces him to read his grandfather's book of solved crimes. She wanted him to become accomplished and become a good lawyer person to help free her husband. As the story goes on, Chan Tai Hei gets himself into a lot of trouble yet he always manages to go through them and help those in need (with the help of Foon Jie of course!). The love triangle was really irritating in my opinion because someone always ended up getting hurt. Then again it is TV.

Mo Loong is the chief of police in Causeway Bay area and is one-hundred and ten percent committed to his love, Yung Yung. He is totally head over heels for her. It's a shame that she didn't feel that way about him though. Yung Yung is in love with Chan Tai Hei. After Yung Yung bought a house for him, he was wise with what he said or did to Yung Yung. If not, he would have been out on the streets. As the story goes on,Chan Tai Hei finds himself falling in love with Foon Jie at the end. Yung Yung stops becoming her bratty self when her dad started his killing spree and she found out. She went completely insane trying to sort out what she should do and stuff. She didn't really start to notice Mo Loong until he was badly injured. He was injured because he found out Yung Yung's father's secret. To protect his secret, Yung Yung's dad hit Mo loong on the head and put him into a coma. However, Mo Loong woke up in time to save Chan Tai Hei from being tried for Yung Yung's dad's crime of the people he killed.

Bad Ending?
In my opinion, I thought that the ending was terrible. I mean, I watched the whole series hoping that Chan Tai Hei and Foon Jie were going to get married or something. But no! They had to mess it up by making her his assistant. I mean come on! Was that messed up or what? My ending for this series would have been that they got married and had some kids. While Foon Jie tries to teach the kids to do well in school, Chan Tai Hei would be telling the kids cases he has solved over the years.

Cutest couple:
I would have to say that the cutest couple is Mo Loong and Yung Yung. He did everything for Yung Yung and treated her like a queen. They look so cute together. He went through all her complaints and he finally got his reward---her love. That is just so sweet.

Best Scene:
The best scene in the whole movie was when Yung Yung was by Mo Loong's bed after he had been knocked unconscious by Yung Yung's father. It was such an emotional scene where Yung Yung was crying and everything. That scene was so touching. It was very emotional.

Would I recommend this series?
I would recommend this series to big fans of Flora and William and to people who enjoy a comical detective story. This series wasn't the best of the year in my opinion but it was terrific. If you have not seen it yet, I would suggest that you go and watch it. It was pretty good. So, go see it!
