FIrstly, I have no idea why this is titled "Relic Of An Emissary". There is no emissary and no relic. The Chinese title "Hung Mo 32" is more appropriate, as this show is on how the future Ming Emperor Yongle (aka Prince Yin, played by Joe Ma) got threatend by his nephew's (Emperor Jianwen, played by Joel Chan) policies and decided to overthrow him and usurp the throne. The sons of the Hung-mo Emperor Hongwu returning to the capital city to visit their father, who is ill. Secretly, the princes are planning ways to succeed the throne. While pursuing a mission, Brocade Guard captain Ngo Siu-fung loses his memory in an accident and forgets about his lover Chor Chor. As he gains his memories, he realizes that he was once a evil Brocade Guard. He decides to change his life. The emperor dies, and the kingdom is left with no heir. Impatient, Wan-man orders Siu-fung to find the edict. The powerful fourth price (Prince Yin), sends his adviser Sam-po to investigate. Fighting to retrieve the edict, Siu-fung and Sam-po undergo a battle of skill. The edict is retrieved and Wan-man ascends to the throne. Wan-man becomes cautious of Yin. Aware that the new emperor has intentions in killing him, Yin raises an army to overthrow him. Prince Yin wins.
