The Story

This series is a 30-day police story. There are 30 episodes and each day is one episode. It is basically about the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB), the police station, and the capturing of Hao Mun Wah. Hao Mun Wah is the leader of a triad gang in Hong Kong. Wong Ka Fai is the CIB member that is in charge of his case and he desperately wants him dead.

The Cast

Alex Fong as Fung Chi Wai

I didn't like his character at all in this series. I used to like his acting and all, but I didn't like this series, his character, or the way he portrayed it. In the beginning, he was okay and all, but as the story progressed, I started to get annoyed by him and by the end, I just hated him. His acting at the end, where he pointed a gun at Patrick, was terrible. It was too forceful, like he didn't know what to do. 3/5

Kevin Cheng as Wong Ka Fai

Same as Alex. Kevin used to be one of my favorites in TVB, but after this I just can't stand him any longer. I just lost interest in him and his acting. The thing here is that he acted the same way throughout the whole series, which was quite boring. Didn't like him at all. Well, not his acting anyway, but his character could pass, I guess. 2/5

Patrick Tam as Yeung Dai Dung

I never liked him or his acting. In the first series I watched of him, he was evil and nasty. Usually from there, I started hating those people, but of course, there are exceptions. He wasn't bad in this series or anything. Actually I sort of liked him, not with the way he dealt with the women and all, but him being the spy and stuff. That was quite cool. I was so afraid that he would get caught. 3/5

Macro Ngai as Hao Mun Wah

He was the one that did the best in this series, although I despised him so much. I hated it when he bothered Alex and Yoyo, even though I didn't like either of them. He plays well as the evil one, but I never asked for much from this guy. 4/5

Yoyo Mung as Pang Wei

To me, she is annoying and all the other negative words I can think of. Yeah, she did a lot for Fung Chi Wai and stuff, but I didn't like any of it. She was the one that caused him not to be able to be a policeman and also caused the death of his daughter. I only liked the end where she turned him in to the police. I didn't like her role nor her acting. 2/5

Sririta Jensen as Rita

She wasn't a necessary character to me, nor is there much to talk about her. I didn't like her a lot. She was okay and all, but nothing special. 2/5

Chatchai Plengpanich as Sam

The best for the last! He is my favorite character in this series. Well, at least I liked both his character and his acting, unlike the others. It's not the type where he saved the series, but at least there's like something you could look forward to. At first, I didn't like him at all, just like my feelings about Marco, but when I realized that he was the spy, I was all excited. I especially liked it when Alex captured him and he could still act so calm and cool; and of course the many times he refused to admit that he is a policeman. 5/5

Overall Thoughts

I would never recommend this series. Even if you are bored, I'd rather go to sleep than watch this. This is by far the most boring series TVB ever produced. Not only were none of the characters interesting (well except for Sam) but the series has the worst actors ever. I couldn't stand the places where they made the scenes and all the offices were so poor-looking and old. It seems like no one ever changed their clothes throughout the whole series, especially Kevin. They made this series terribly tedious. I wasn't interested at all by Alex and Yoyo's relationship nor Patrick and Rita's. Actually, I watched this series because of Kevin, but he didn't even have a love story, so I didn't even bother.
