Wind and Cloud (Feng Yun: Xiong Ba Tian Xia) Xiong Ba : The Conqueror Sonny Chiba I feel is one of the best actors in this show, though not my favorite character personally, but his portrayal of Xiong Ba is impeccable. Personally, I think this production needs work, in terms of editing, post sound, cinematography and definitely the direction. The sound ends so abruptly while the vision still carries on, and in certain parts, it seems unfinished. Editing wise, it really needs improvement on transitions between scenes. It came off as rushed and careless, which brings down the whole production value. Aside from the production, I feel that the script needs work especially towards the end......

Introduction This is an adaptation of Ma Wing Shing's novel/comic version made into 40 episodes. But please do not place too high of hopes on it. You will be disappointed with the people chosen for the characters. The supposedly strong/suave/handsome swordsmen and fascinating beauties in the comics turn out to be very small sized/ugly on screen with lousy hairdos. What a pity -- fortunately the computer effects on all the fights are impressive to lure viewers to watch...
