Yang Mi (楊冪) is a Chinese model and actress, often compared by the critics to Audrey Hepburn and Natalie Portman. The acting career of Yang Mi started at the age of four, when she played in the "Wu Zhuang Yuan Fen Gai Er" (1990) series. Later on as a child star she could have been admired in "Wu Zhuang Yuan Su Qi Er" (1992) and "Hou Wa" (1993). In 2004 she appeared in her first full-length film "Beijing Tong Hua" (2004). 2006 was very fruitful for Yang Mi: not only did she participate in "The Door", but she also portrayed Guo Xiang in "The Return of the Condor Heroes", an adaptation of a classic Wuxia novel by Louis Cha. For her role in "The Door" Yang Mi had to extract four teeth out so she could look skinnier.
