Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a kung fu series that I watched many years ago in the 80s with ghosts. I only remember the theme song. There is a woman flying across the screen when the song starts.
i watched A Chinese Ghost Story and Encounters of the Spooky Kind but this is a long series, not a movie.
Can you suggest to me tv series with ghosts from the 80s?

Hi! I'm not sure. The closest thing I found is the Strange Tales of Liao Zhai. There are various remakes in the 80s, 90s, and even recent ones in 2007 and 2016. I saw some episodes on Youtube. I didn't hear the song in my memory but something similar. Maybe it's a different version or different episode of the series but I couldn't find it online.

Do you by any chance recall the tune of the opening song, or who the girl was?

I remember only the melody of the opening song but not much because I was very young.
It sounds a little bit like the song from this series I found on Youtube so I thought it could be related.

I can't think of any TVB song which is even remotely like that version of Liaozhai. Was it a Canto series or Mandarin series?Quote:
