Not really. Against a superior force with competent commanders even i can only do so much historically.

yeah but u gotta admit that zhuge liang was probably a much better tactitian than yue fei. the only person at that time who could give a run for his money was sima yi.

Are you talking about the historical Zhuge Liang or the one from the novel. No doubt, the one from the novel is a much better strategist than Ngok Fei, but if you're talking about the historical Zhuge Liang, then forget it. Lu Meng, Lu Xun,
Zhou Yu, Cao Cao, etc... are much better strategists than Zhuge Liang ever was.

i know zhuge liang's achievenments are over exagarrated in the novel but lu meng doesnt seem like much of a strategist to me. but then i only read the novel not the historical one, so i may be wrong

u gotta take into account that cao cao has the strongest army at that time, followed by sun quan. liu bei was the weakest. if not cus he had lots of good generals, he'll probably get squashed pretty early
