Ning Jing is very very famous and there's tons of info on her. I like her in Lu Bu Wei, Heroines of the Yang Clan and Bai Yin Gu.

i know she's famous but wat i meant was info of hers in english. i know there are chinese news but i don't think she has a lot of fans.

i've watched almost all of her work, even her earlier movies. my very first film of hers was Red Firecracker, Green Firecracker.

i liked her in Heroines of the Yang Clan, Xiao Zhuang Mi Shi and Spirit Masters. though my favorite would always be Xiao Zhuang Mi Shi. i have tons of her pics and movie.

She recently acted as Princess Wuyang in Nanyue Wang a China period production with Ray Liu, Wu Gang and Tang Guo Qiang.

what is it about..is it new?
Is Ning Jing the leading actress...

I think she's very beautiful..I like her eyes
but she doesn't seem to be very popular..
no one seems to know who she is..

i've only seen her in that Huang Epic
and then she was in Underworld with Ma ching tao
but she was only a supporting actress

oh also with Nicky wu..she wears that purple dress..

The series just finished production and is expected to air in June or July. Ning Jing is one of the leads in the drama along with Ray Liu and Tang Guo Qiang but I'm not so sure how substantial her role is.

Nanyue Wang is about Zhao Tuo (Ray Liu), a general of the Qin Dynasty who founded the Kingdom of Southern Yue. It covers his life from age 30 to 106.

Zhao Tuo had 4 wives and the love he shared with Princess Wuyang was full of twists and turns because his rival was the Emperor Qin Shi Huang (Tang Guo Qiang) so audiences can expect Princess Wuyang will be involved in a complex emotional entanglement with the King and the Emperor.

According to the producers, Princess Wuyang wasn't a historical figure but added by the scriptwriters to make this show about men more interesting. Ning Jing likened Princess Wuyang to a sacrificial figure in a political marriage.

The other cast members are Wu Gang as Zhao Gao, Liu Zhi Bing as Liu Bang, Gao Lu as Yu Jing, Cao Pei Chang as Ren Xiao, Gao Rong as Ren Ling'er and Zhang Heng as Lu Zhi.

I like Ning Jing too. Her characters are unforgettable because she brings such a presence to her roles. She is very popular but probably not so popular in this forum.

I don't really know much about her as I've only seen her in Yang Men Nu Jiang. It's a supporting role because she only appears in the later part as Mu Guiying but I thought she stole the show from Carmen Lee.
