    Default Ancient/Action Series Suggestion Please

    I just love ancient series so much. I need some suggestion from you guys. What other ancient/action series should I watch? (Series that I won't fast forward)

    So far I've seen
    -Twin Of Brothers
    -The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber (2000)
    -State Of Divinity (1996)
    -Demi Gods and Semi Devils (1982,1997)

    I want something with interesting storyline, developed characters and good fighting scenes.

    A Step Into The Past - its got Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Jessica Hsuan, Sonija Kwok in it. Its pretty good and i think its Raymonds first series.. im jus guessing.. not quite sure.

    Guts Of Man - Got Ron Ng Sammual Chan and Mandy CHo in it. i havent finished but seems good so far

    Gods Of Honour - Benny Chan, Michelle yip and much more. This is really good.

    Eternal Happiness - Raymond Lam, Michelle Yip and Joe Ma. Really good as well.

    Lofty Water Verdant Bow - Raymond Lam, Michelle Yip & Rain li

    Lady Fan - Joe Ma, Jessica Hsuan i dint like this much. but its action and ancient.
    Heroes :: raymond , bosco, ron, roger, johnny depp, ryan reynolds and ronald cheung

    IDOLS :: jessica alba, tavia, myolie, miriam yeung, selena li, natalie tong and bernice

    Gods of Honour is good..a lot of action scenes..

    maybe Journey to the West 1 and 2.. but 1's much better.

    It's more modern but contains a few ancient scenes in it. A really well done series.

    If you're looking for an ancient series, and you like jing yong, you should try Louis and Carmens adaption of Return of Condor Hero 95.

    Also, mainland tend to do better ancient series.

    If you're looking for comedy, go with Duke of Mount Deer 2000, really hilarious.

    have anyone heard of serie with lead character named Lee Kim Huang (I believe that's his name)? I don't know the name of the serie. He uses the knife as the weapon. I'm not sure if it's TVB though. By the way, is it good ancient serie?

    U wanna try The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain? Starring Felix Wong (earlier scenes) Sunny Chan & Charmaine Sheh. I enjoyed the show as much as Gods of Honour, Legend of Condor Heroes - Carmen & Louis version.

    I really like The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain. I recommend it too.

    May be you could try The Crimson Sabre (2000) starring Gordon Lam, Charmaine Sheh and Kwong Wah. I enjoyed this series a lot.

    Trying to think of other ancient series that no one has yet mentioned..

    Lady Fan is quite good.... if u r able to look beyond the crappy special effects

    Thanks for mentioning Charmaine Sheh!! I love her in The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber (2000). She's my TVB fav actress. I thought about seeing Angels of Mission (just for Charmaine) but I heard so many bad things about it so I don't know...

    btw one of my friends recommend me to see "Mystery of Sabre" but I couldn't find VCD anywhere!

    Does Michelle Reis play any ancient serie? Because she's my fav actress too. The only serie I saw her in was Legendary Ranger.

    I,too, am addicted to ancient series. I thought Ni Shi Han with Julian Cheung and Walllce Zhong was really good.

    I recommend Lethal Weapons Of Love And Passion (starring Raymond Lam, Bosco Wong, Charmaine Sheh, Power Chan, Sharon Chan, Derek Kwok, Sonija Kwok, John Chiang). It's a great series .
