    Default Question about Poh Kim Video products

    moderators, please feel free to move this to the appropriate section.

    I noticed that Yesasia is now selling those 6 Fann Wong dramas mentioned in this article http://ch8.mediacorptv.com/around8/e...ew/495/1/.html w/ eng subs.

    Does anyone know if the english subs are decent? and as to the quality of the VCD sets?

    would you recommend Always on My Mind, Out to Win, or Chronicles of Life?

    If i'm not wrong, the subtitles will be the same as those shown on Singapore TV. So if that's the case, subtitles & quality shd be decent cause it's MediaCorp's own production. But still do check with someone who has bought it.

    I would recommend all 3 dramas actually.

    yea.. me bought already.. i buy the legendary swordsman.. and the subtitle is the same as it shown on tv one..

    wat do u mean by is it decent a not ah?? me blur liao!!

    I bought the Always on my mind..felt that there is no difference as compared with being shown on tv...

    So far I've bought Always on my mind, Chronicles of Life and Fann Adventure. Quality is similar to that shown on tv, subtitles are the same too. Hard to pick one to recommend, it really depends on what genre u'r more interested in. I thought Always has a very touching storyline, Fann looks great in Fann Adventure, Chronicles of Life was slow in pacing at first, but the plot picked up towards the middle of the show and seriously, it has a plot to rival that of HK drama serials. Couldn't get the Out to win vcd anyway, though im interested in getting that. Anyone happens to know where i can find that? As well as Unbroken cycle?
