series to look out for in 2005/06

U might wanna try Shades of Truth, My Family and Just Love. Tat's i wanna watch for year 2005 series too. Oh, n dun forget Healing Hands III.

*g* I also had the TVB Chinese Channel but it was really expensive so i had to quit. yeah it was really annoying that there are only the old series, but the shows are the latest (like "Cheung mun yan" (->super trio), i love it) by the way your livin in uk right?? There should be many places where you can rent new series.

I liked the academy, gentle crackdown (very funny ), gateax affair is ok, the new serie war of inlaws is very funny , I watched the first 2 episodes and it was hillarious.
I also recommend fantasy hotel, very funny serie

series I don't recommend:

guts of man and herbalist affair, they are both very borring and I didn't even finish watching it.

I know what you mean. I guess you have TVB Europe like I do. All the series currently shown are last years.. the only thing thats most recent is MTV.

back to the topic. I most want to see War & Beauty but I've no idea when its going to shown on TVB Europe.

I don't know bout the My Sassy Mother-in-Law series.. haven't watched it yet.. but I saw the opening song.. kinda its-gonna-be-a-funny-series feeling to me...

Other than that, some serious ones are The Herbalist's Manual and Healing Hands III(releasing in August I think..)

love bond, gentle crackdown, and shades of truth are my favourites this yr.



just love was crap imo - din't even finish it.
academy was also very dull.
gateau affairs is good if you're really...really bored.
and the family is good for cheap laughs but the storyline =

some from last yr that were good include the last breakthrough and shine on you.

I've finished Gentle crackdown and must say that it was extremely good (really funny *g*). i really liked niki and moses in here especially niki. will surely vote for this series . and by the way I've started to watch shades of truth. this series is ok coz the story isnt that special. its really similar to infernal affairs but i will still watch it till the end. again thnx for the tips
and what do you think about Healing hands III and Yummy Yummy? are they worth to watch?? And wat bout other series???

War Of In-Laws is worth watching. It's very funny

My family was okay, a bit dull at times
The Academy, its a good show (maybe coz ron's in it! lol
The Gentle Crackdown was okay too, funny and does not require much thinking
Just Love was plain old STUPID!
Shades of Truth was funny and good
Love Bond is good for the family values

Well, I'd probaly recommend, The Gateu Affairs(Myolie Wu, Joe Ma--Comedy, Romance), Shades of Truth(Julian Cheung, Wong Hei, Gigi Lai, Tavia Yeung--Action, a little Comedy), Gentle Crackdown(Niki Chow, Moses Chan--Comedy, Action), War of the In-Laws(Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong, Liza Wang--Coemdy)
There's a lot more good TVB series, just can't think about them right now.
